Looks like I'll be doing all things slowly.. forgive the slow and poor typing for a while.. Just broke my index finger playing LAX last night.. on the plus side after casting/surgery I might have more time to play! Luckily dice rolling is a one handed task...

I'll try to post some pictures.., it was a through break on two planes, a bit jagged, near knuckle so must be pinned. LH index finger long bone closest to hand. Did not hurt too much, I took my glove off to look at it and that bone was U-shaped.. not good, right off to the ER. At home now surgery, went well today. Looks like one month with pins then one with cast after pins out... just days before I was to start my Iron Bone training (with focus on my skinny ass, long, boney hands too!)... last 10 minutes of the last game of the summer season... might have to start listening to the folks telling my 50 year old butt to stop playing rough sports with college and HS kids.. but its so darn much fun to kick their butts from time to time.. it will be hard to give that up.

Time will tell, but 3 months from now I train in earnest!

Before and after... I really wish the old cure serious wounds was real! But a hand specialist, a pair of 316L CRES pins and two months should work too!
