Hey Tree, just wanted to say congradulations on the "Why Play C&C" document. It is an awsome piece. For those who haven't seen it, take a look.

You guys wrote it, for the most part. I just edited out repeating kind of themes and maybe changed some word useage. Plus I wrote the first paragraph or two.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

That is a very cool document and a wonderful testament to the greatness of C&C.

And 23? William S. Burroughs would approve.

would be interesting to see a page hits counter for just that page... does this article actually garner traffic - and does that traffic actually view the C&C section of the TLG web site... Analytics all the way

So know one has noticed I implied there would be a players perspective kind of section and then never had one?

CKs are players. I simply thought you meant "from the perspective of those who actually play the game."

Thanks. She now, tentatively, works for Necromancer, the Trolls, and Expeditious Retreat. If the work load stays as high as they told her to expect she is looking at roughly 12 to 17 grand of work at the age of 14. By Christmas time.

So if it all works out it will be very cool for her. She still has no desire to make "artwork" into her career. Just a fun and paying hobby. Geology/Hydrology is still her goal.

So it is very cool. My parents and everyone else in the family is pretty much blown away.

Plus it is cool that I will now be doing a module or three for Necromancer as well. With C&C conversion notes, of course. My wife will co-author, and my wife and daughter will also do all interior art.

Tree, what's this? You're daughter got hired by the Trolls/others to do some artwork? Sound very excellent!

Yes. She is going to, hopefully, be a big contributor on the next Monster book.
