vestin, what happened? I could have sworn you said you were going to make it.

It was fun. I lost track of a whole hour I got so absorbed into what was going on. Looking forward to the next one.

Kyle,

Another great session. I was on the edge of my seat the entire day - especially with the way the die bot was going. PC = crap CK = high. That is until the last moment, when I miraculously sunk two arrows into the back of the fleeing stranger and dealt some nice damage to bring him down.

Thanks to Grimaryl and Devoni for some outstanding role-playing. I think we are working well together as a team.

I missed the other players, but I understand things can get in the way. I was almost late - my son was coming to visit from college and I thought we were going out to lunch. When I told my wife I would really like to be home by 2, she said we would just eat at home then. I got to play on time, and saved money in the process.

I probably should have made this into 4 short posts to increase my number of posts and improve my standing, but I don't care about that anymore.

Kyle, see if you can join the Skype/maptool game listed in this forum. Maybe we will then be able to turn around and do it with your game. He wants to do bi-weeklt and week nights. Hope you can do it!

I am looking at Skype, but just started school 3 weeks ago and am a little busy. The good news is I've almost finished the latest journal entry of the last two sessions. Its quite lengthy, but you guys have done alot. The chat log hasn't been published because I used my new computer for last session and it doesn't have a pdf converter, it will be up soon. Right now I am preparing for a playtest tomorrow and trying to slog my way through The Stand by Stephen King. Glad you guys are having fun, I really enjoy running the game, plus if I get a good after I graduate this is one game I know I can still play.

Edit If I get a good JOB

Ditto - lots of great fun! I think the role-playing went well. At least we didn't have to fight a mean dice-bot this week

So who's going to make it this weekend?

BTW, I haven't "seen" Vestinious anywhere. I hope he is OK. I even sent him a PM or two with no response.

I am planning on being there - though I may be a little late. My wife will be getting back from her teachers' convention Saturday and will probably want to go out to lunch on Sunday.

Regardless, I will be there ASAP.

Hey with Vesti and now Meepo bailing can my 14 year old daughter join? We would have separate laptops on a wireless. Our language has been plenty clean and my daughter deals with adult content just fine (not xxx, but slavery, cruelty, theft, etc) Plus if your ever worried about content coming up you could always ask me.

Hey everyone -

I just realized I missed yesterday's game.
My apologies, - my dissertation deadline was today and I've spent every spare moment editing, colating and compiling bibliography for the past week and a half, and just about everything else left my mind. I WILL be back next time!

You missed an ugly one. Your friggin Illusionist was kickin some butt with his staff! His spells sucked, but his staff was wicked! Plus the cleric literally got her head bashed in with a crit. I won't talk about how much the dice bot screwed with my Paladin.

The die-bot screwed us all. I fired 8 arrows at +5 at a guy I figure was AC12 and only got one hit!

And every time Mr. Biggs swung his axe, it was a vicious hit. Three swings, three dead adventurers.

I'm just glad he called it quits before killing me.

I'm going to have to read through the transcripts, I can't remember the last time my Paladin rolled a successful to hit.

Plus Biggs did miss once. The first time he swung at Glarion. Then he made up for the miss by following with a crit.

Yeah, Biggs was nasty. Doing 3d4+7, meaning 10 is the minimum damage he could possibly do, will definitely mess up a group of first and second level characters. His average is 13 or 14 damage. So he took me to -2 with his first hit, then when I got healed to 3 or 4 his follow up hit took me completely out. I only got to swing at him once? Maybe twice? 12 was the best the die bot let me get.

If we had actually been able to hit him things would have probably gone better. But the dice bot keeps screwing us.

I tell you one thing, that dice bot is making me consider believing people do influence what their favorite dice do roll.
