looking ahead to killer troll cave

Post by miller6 »

Okay, so obviously with the Troll Lords heading up C&C, when I get to Killer Troll Cave it should be something really special.

I was thinking of asking them for a description of their office layout for the dungeon map and naming the trolls in the mod after each troll lord.

Watcha think? Any comments or other suggestions?

That would be awesome!

How could they not be flattered.

Reminds me of the KODT comic where Bob was running a dungeon that was the exact layout of his house.

To make short drunk trolls I'd have to give them magic ale of dimunition then give the Davis troll oil of slipperiness.

I think you have a great foundation for an excellent module. Its been a long time since I have seen an adventure that made you laugh as your character was smashed to paste! The last one was...um....hmm...
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Heh. Shouldn't be too terribly difficult to create Troll-like trolls.

Introduction to the adventure....

Your party has been camping in the woods. In the morning you awake to find some mangy dog wandered into the camp last night and took (something really dear to party). Following the tracks.....

There's a story behind that, I'm fairly sure. I just don't know what it is.

Steve's dog. Famous for pissing on his computer.

Also read that Steve's dog will bring him back 'gifts' from his neighbors. I do not know if it is true, but evidently his dog even brought him back a 6-pack one morning or evening.

Hmm...a mangy, pissing dog...seems the hell-hound from the M&T matches that description.
