Stupid Rain - Happy 4th!

Post by Combat_Kyle »

Well I hope most of you in the states are outside in sunny weather enjoying BBQs and fireworks. We have thunderstorms and massive ammounts of rain, I am stuck inside. Eh oh well, enjoy th 4th people!

Thunderstorms here in Texas, too. Soggy and lots of mosquitos. Not the ideal 4th of July, but we're hanging in there!

It started to rain here as well, just heard that the fireworks were postponed until Thursday.

Nice and sunny here in AZ, but it isn't the afternoon yet, when the monsoon season rains come through nearly every day. They cool things down real nice for the last few hours of daylight, then lead into a nice comfortable evening.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Heh. Here in New Hampshire it's been partly cloudy all day, and we're taking the kids to see the fireworks tonight, but thunderstorms are coming in, along with gale-force winds, they say, and possibly some hail. Typical New England -- it changes like ... like the weather!

BBQ chicken and fireworks last night. Today has been sunny and nice. We went for a walk in the forest preserve trails here and got very close to a doe and her fawn. It was a nice surprise as they generally stay hidden.

Happy and safe Independence Day to all!

Stupid New York and their "no fireworks" crap laws! Damn them!

Oh well. I think I'll sneak into Pennsylvania...

Celebrated on Sat the 1st until a cop told us to knock it off. Great weather. Went to the parade this morning.

Serleran, regardless of the state, smaller towns tend to relax the city ordinances on fireworks for the 4th. At least that's been my observation.

I'm in Texas as well and while it did try to rain for a little bit, it cleared up very quickly and we had a blast....both literally and figuratively.
