So I'm waltzing through Wally-World today with She Who Must Be Obeyed, and my eyes chance to fall upon the bargain DVD bin. And then...it catches my eye: "Vampires & More". Upon looking it over, it is no less than TWENTY ULTRA-CHEESY VINTAGE HORROR FLICKS ON 4 DVD's.
For five bucks.
Included in this collection are George Ramero's original 1968 B&W "Night Of The Living Dead", The 1922 silent film, "Nosferatu", the 1960 Vincent Price classic, "The Last Man On Earth", and a whole host of others!! I was inwardly geekgasming all over the place.
Just read this description of "Count Dracula And His Vampire Bride" and tell me you don't get that warm tingly feeling:
"Count Dracula has developed a deadly strain of bubonic plague and plans to use his Satan-worshipping disciples to release it worldwide. Starring Christopher Lee."
Hell. Yes.
I plan on staying up late with these lil' gems for many nights to come....heheheh.

Good catch! I bought the darn thing when it was still in the $10.00 section.
Got "The Duke" collection at the same time, for $10.00 as well. So I am still happy.
Especially since I saw the same collection, just a tin added, for $49.95 a couple of months ago. In Wal Mart.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

That sounds SUPER COOL ... If I saw something like that, I would have grabbed it up in an instant as well. I must admit I'm now in a quest to find it (it being a copy of the compilation)...

EDIT - Found it on Amazon !!

Brilliant.
I love those movies.
The Lee/Cushing one is also known as the Satanic Rites of Dracula / Dracula 1972 AD, right?
Living in Pittsburgh, I'm sure it's no surprise that I love Night of the Living Dead. On Halloween, if I'm not out doing something, you can bet I'm watching either that or Dracula (with Bela Lugosi).

Hmm...I honestly don't know. Anyone want to chime in on this?
