I'm CKing a game wed nights (5:45 mountain time) and will need an additional player(s).
So far we have two fighters and a cleric.
New member(s) will start at 2nd lvl.
House rules: I use Ghul's variant barbarian, and the world's most brutal of critical hit/fumble tables. http://www.dndadventure.com/dnda_optional_rules.html
Running The Wicked Cauldren to start.
We're pretty laid back and occasionally growl during combat.

For crying out loud, do what you can with the rolls the dice have given you. This is what separates the men from the boys... -Kayolan
Hi Slimy.
Possibly. Love to play, but let me see. I'll post or PM as soon as know.

I don't think I dare join another group. Would you be OK with my kids joining? They are 15, 13, and 11.
If so I'll let them check out your website, etc...

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Unfortunately, I'll have to say nay to the young ones Treebore; two in the group are teachers, and after conferring with them, they mentioned how they like to get away from all things earthly during games, and freely be 'foul of mouth', etc.
Very traumatic for young ones I'd wager.

Yep. Thats the usual problem people have about gaming with kids. Gotta act too good. My daughter and older son can deal with it well, but my 11 year old is still very offended by such talk.
Plus they are still young and can have trouble staying focused, which may be made worse on the internet.
Just thought I would throw it out there, just in case.

re:
Is no one here brave enough to stand on the open steppe with sword in hand, wind in hair, to tread the sands and conquer...etcetera?
There's no pressure to stay committed, just pop in for a game tonight, and see if you like it.
Adventure awaits...

I'd join up, but Wednesday is my regular poker night. Sorry.

Hmmm, I'm definitely tempted, but I might need more exposure first. I've yet to play in a C&C game, even though I've been reading the manuals for quite awhile now. Not to mention that playing by skype is pretty new to me as well. I've got years of experience, but all of that has been face to face within a table top group.
Any chance I could sit it on a session to see how comfortable it feels? A test drive probably isn't the traditional practice, but it could save both of us time if it turns out it's not a great fit for me. If things work out, Wednesday nights would be a good for me as I recently gave up on a weekly poker group that play on Wednesdays.
You're call. I'm flexible.
Thanks.
Matt
