I have : 60 archery merit points to spend

***
I put my hat in the ring for these 2 magic items:

Escape Hatch: a two-inch diameter metal hoop and a little attached chain. Bronze Hoop: (Good): A device with the power to create a 16-foot long tunnel. If the solid material it is placed against is of greater thickness, then the tunnel has a solid end, and the tunnel will likely prove useless.

Julia's Kettle of Most Excellent Cooking: a great old iron cooking pot, a large kettle of the kind sufficient to cook a meal through within an hour or two. Any meal cooked within the kettle will be heated evenly through, having no cold spots, nor any burned spots. In addition, it will be especially nutritious, sufficing for two ordinary meals, and doubling an injured Avatar's healing rate

***
Now reading the thread, I mention having a magic shield and magic sword. I have NO info at all on either of them. So if anyone has any idea what they were or did, let me know.

Background
The seventh son of a minor merchant, Antal grew up wanting for nothing. When Antal's father thought him old enough to learn the family trade, he was sent to the southern city, Farezia, to live and learn with his eldest brother, Tibor. In Farezia, Antal became enamored of the bravos of the city and began to mimic their effects. He also hired a master to train him in the bravo's fighting styles. He learned quickly and was adept at the cut & thrust sword. Antal spent less and less time learning from his brother and more time carousing and getting into scrapes with other young bravos. As the years passed, Tibor became frustrated with Antal's lack of interest in the family business and the wasteful spending of his allowance. Matters came to a head, and Tibor demanded that Antal give up his foppish and wasteful ways. They argued bitterly and Antal left his brother's house to make his own way in Farezia.

Antal struggled to continue his lifestyle and took work as an enforcer for different enterprises in Farezia. This is when he adopted his signature dark clothes. For two years, Antal did not speak with his brother or have any dealings with his father's house. One night, Antal was carousing with several of his compatriots after a small job for a local noble. News came to Antal's ears that Tibor had been murdered. Antal was crushed that he was not able to make amends with Tibor and vowed to settle his brother's murderer. He used such connections as he had to discover the identity of his brother's killer and sought the man out. Before Antal sent the murderer to the hells, he was told that Elio, a son of the powerful noble house of Vespucci, had his brother killed for a perceived slight. Antal wasted no time in seeking Elio out and ending his life. He fled the city that night and returned to his father's house.

Teodor's Sword
I am Teodor, son of Hjalmar, Jarl of the Land of Song. Upon the frozen fjord, I fought the Black Watch at my father’s side. Together, we brought the Winter of Tears to an end. We thought we destroyed all the blight brought to our land. Those of Her Dark Majesty’s servants who survived the battle fled the field, escaping our axes. We believed they had scattered forever. We were too proud. Too proud, and too spent by the battle.

I was slain by treachery upon returning home. Not all of Her slaves were accounted for.

Although my father spent the remainder of his life tracking her minions down, one eluded the Clans. He was known to us as “The Evil Tongue,” for it was he who spoke as Her messenger. He still lives. Now, he calls himself “Malphaetor” and seeks vengeance against the Clans.

Take this knife. It was intended for Her Dark Majesty, but it will do for him. When you strike, let him know that it was I who gave you this!"
