Seskis

Post by Buttmonkey »

John Wright aka Seskis passed away early this morning from a blood clot. He was a great GM and an even better person.

I see Googleplex already posted the news under the tribute forum. I didn’t mean to be redundant.

I shared that in the Society forum as well. John had a great impact on the early success of the game with both his CKing at the early Gary Cons and the first few issues of Domesday.

Great guy.

He will be missed.

John at GaryCON

Having some issues with photobucket since they want to charge money to host.

If the image says it's unavailable, click on it and then it should take you to photobucket.

Lemeno if it works.

Thanks for sharing that photo Rhu. I never met John but from what I've heard he was a great human being.

You're welcome. And glad the photo finally appeared, but hate the photobuck tag.

Btw, that's Mona (his wife) across from him.

And the guy on the left with folded arms is a great fellow and forum member. And I can't believe that I'm not remembering him at the moment. He gamed with Morty here in the Chi suburbs.

The 2 girls next to John and Mona were players in his C&C group.

Damn.
I have fond memories of his C&C adventure, The Ziggurat of Zon, in which we played at Gary Con VII. He was a very nice and polite man.

Hey, all. Haven't posted in a while. Came by to let you know, but it looks like you're already aware. John and I worked for the same institution for many years until just a few years ago, so I had the honor of knowing him IRL. I can attest to the fact that he was a really outstanding human being. His passing is really shocking, and he will be missed.

Sad news. Never met him, but certainly enjoyed his contributions to C&C and the forums.
