Anyway, thanks for reporting in ~ as the CK couldn't be bothered to post an update! :x

Hopefully interest isn't waning

I'm not sure what the family emergency was but I know as we were getting everything going on Discord, Rig said that he just then had something drop in his lap and would not be able to run it.

As for 2 weeks ... if you jumped into Rhi's fantastical victory game you would be able to play this coming week. Good group, great DM, and interesting to see just how well DMMike's Victorian superhero game easily morphs into a good fantasy rule. Plus it doubles your chance to roll dice every once in a while

Hey guys, sorry I had to bail on Monday. I literally had a family emergency come up as I was getting ready to run the game. I had the MT server up and everything. I don't want to go into detail about the emergency here, I'll explain next session. I feel bad because we were getting close to some big action and I wanted to get there. This week has been hectic so far. This is the first chance I've had to get on here. Hopefully, I won't have to cancel again for a while.

Crud .... just realized I'll be on vacation on 24 June and will be out of coms.

So I'll be out of pocket for our next 5e game.

I think I have everything updated, but I'll check before I go,

Big thing is I now have first level spells . I can cast 2 per day, I can 'know' 4 to cast from.

I'd plan on knowing :

Bless, cure, shield of faith & ???

I'd tend to use the slots for cure mostly, but either of the other 2 as a back up bonus to anyone needing it.

heh, well thanks for posting. saw this today. After not seeing a game update, we were playing cards last night.

Here's an idea . . how about the CK posting an update in this thread a half hour BEFORE the game rather than one of his players posting a half hour TOO late after the game!!!

Really??

Just got back from the vacation - spent to much money, eat evern more, and the grils enjyed ever second of it ....

How was the game? Did Raben do amazing things (like hide and snipe all the bad guys and then run up next to Tse-Tseg and help save her from being overwhelmed) and did he get to use his well earned spells for the first time and save all the squishies lives as they fell ?????

Well... I managed to not get him killed so that counts for something! He did help kill the big bad guy with Tse-Tseg. Had a good fight, Weevilthorn got knocked to like -6 HP, but then rolled a natural 20 on the first save to bring him back to 1 HP. We killed everyone except 1 Imp that turned invisible and fled. Not much treasure though.

Not getting killed in the big fight is always a good start! Even better helping the rest of the group in the fight. However, icing on the cake is hearing Weevilthorn was knocked down to the neg HP area ;)

Thanks for running him for me.

I've posted the schedule on Epic Words. The one time this summer that I canceled was because of a family emergency that literally fell into my lap as I was starting the game. I'm sorry my life is a bit busier right now and I don't have time to send out personal invites to every game. I try to stick to the schedule that I post, but sometimes things come up. If that is a problem, perhaps you should look for a more "stable" game.

Les, it is my game this week.

Rig, I never have any prob with cancelling a game. My issue is the inconsistency of how you let us know if a game is on. You've mostly posted here and yes, have put the schedule on EW (but not always). And it seems that a few times, peeps were on Discord discussing whether or not the game is on.
I don't expect personal invites, I just need to know where to go to find out if the game is on.

After 15 years of posting gaming updates here on this forum, I am in the habit of checking here. But, I have no problem looking to another source for the game on info. Just tell me which source is the bible and I'll go there (I had asked this question on Discord, but you did not respond).

And btw, I'll look for a more stable game after I kick your ASS from here to Erie, mothufcuka!

Just assume that the game is on unless I post otherwise. I usually post here if I have to cancel. Mondays are my long day. I work 10 hours until 730 pm or so and when I get home, I want to spend time with the Mrs before the game. I don't post that the game is on. I usually do that the night before or early in the morning if I get a chance to be online.

Good game and good build up to the coming fight with the big bad guy.

Can we pull it off ... possible if the ods were even. However, since the plan hinges on me bluffing twice (once on boldly walking up the stairs and looking like I belong, and the secon getting anyone awake at the draw bridge to relax long enough for us to get the jump on them) and blufss depend on the evil dice roller ... I for see three 1s in a row and a completely blown plan !

Thanks, Jagoff, I had a great week. We did have to do some unexpected construction. The metal pole holding up the deck had rusted through and the deck needed to be shored up. e did get to play D&D a couple of nights, but since it was 3rd edition we only got through about half of the dungeon in an 8-hour session. It reminds me why I don't like 3rd edition.
