Monday night Rigon's 5e Nentir Vale

Post by Lurker »

So we can stop using the Kingdoms of Kalamar Game thread for randomness

main info on

http://www.epicwords.com/campaigns/5646

May Lupa, and his blessed Dardo, and the rest have a long happy retirement

May the new batch of Rigon's Monday Night Ne'er-do-wells be as successful (and may map tools stop giving me LOW rolls regardless of the game we play)

FYI, we are going to try Discord this Monday. I know most of you use it, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Some jagoff downed an electric line somewhere and I don't have power. It's supposed to be back on by 4pm my time, but you never know. I'll keep you posted.

Great sessh, everyone!

I think we all gained a level (rather than leveled up)!

Looking forward to seeing how we all get more cool abilities and POWERZ to kick monster ASS!

Rgr that, Raban is now officially a Paladin / Thief !!!

With his armor he won't be the best at sneaking, but we at least have someone to check for traps, open locks and the like, and he will be deadly in combat when Raben & Tsetseg work together in melee !

Nice! It's like we've gained another party member. Next game should be wild and crazy. :P

I don't know about another party member, but Raben should be a bit more useful.

Wellllll ... he would be more useful if map tools didn't love giving me more than my fair share of low rolls ... ;)

Looking forward to it

After spending 2 1/2 hours at the local VA clinic, waiting for the doc to say, "you are in general good health, just lose 35 lbs and lower your BP a little - which will come from losing said weight. Do you want more shots in your knees & ankles?"

I need to roll dice and kill things ... well with roll 20 roll dice hoping to kill things but woefully miss, so can't wait !

Sorry again. I started to get a massive headache just above my eyes after I left the school. When I got home from working at the market, I took some ibuprofen and made dinner, hopoing it would clear up. By 8, it hadn't. I was asleep by 9. Still a little achy, but not throbbing like last night.

No more blabby than most of the rest of us.

All and all, blabby ending included, great game. Interesting to see just how effective a party can be with sooooo many spell slingers, and such a diversity of types of spells being cast.

I wonder what will happen when we come across something that is magic resistant or can counter all or some of the spells. If that happens I hope I'm more lucky than normal and the barbarian is as devastating in combat as she has been thus far.

Plus great role playing between the 2 teiflings. Only in this group could a (goodish) paladin work so well with an evil sorcerer

My internet is down, along with the water in my house, so I might not be able to make it tonight.

internet came up some time after noon, and I got the water thawed under the house a little after 1400, so unless something goes sideways I should be able to game tonight.

Whaaat? You can't ask the CK what monster we faced!! :D

And since the "beast" as you called him got away (or retreated to face us another day) you (we) don't know!

I do recall someone guessing what the monster was - mebbe, mebbe not!

I haven't looked at the old MM2 in years, so it is indeed a guess. I don't recall them having the ability to disappear or teleport, so I could be wrong. Hairy beast with big teeth that disappeared, which we may or may not have killed, is as good as it gets at this point.

Planning on running, but may be a half hour/hour late. Mrs isn't home yet. She had to run a drama kid home and I'd like to spend some time with her when she does get home.
