Re: Aergraith's Sunday C&C: "Heroes and Scoundrels of Xylh"
Let's postpone this game until January. Besides various holidays, I need to do some work on the game so you have something to do if you aren't just hex exploring, and I need to move all of the old locations over to the new hex numbering: previously I just had a small region made up in Hexographer but now I have a full world in Worldographer.
So next game will be 14 January.

Zumbido is interested in exploring more about the bad guy causing all the trouble. Particularly a heist of the amulet of Yendor. Anyone else have some goals?

So, Ikmo and the Amulet are back in Palmartizen.Penny-Whistle wrote:Zumbido is interested in exploring more about the bad guy causing all the trouble. Particularly a heist of the amulet of Yendor. Anyone else have some goals?
But we could do some kind of heist.
This gets back to whether you want more structured, plotted adventures, or complete anarchy, or something leaning more to one side or the other. I can accommodate anything with a little time.

We're heading for Indiana in a few minutes. Not sure if I'll make it back for the game, or I may be late.
Have a great session.

Reminder that next session, we'll be playing with Fantasy Grounds II. I have an ultimate license, so just download the demo version or free version or whatever it is, and you should be good. I'll get coordinates to the game on Discord on game day. I'll take care of getting your characters in and figuring out how to enter multiclass characters. I plan to run it for a couple of sessions to see how it is these days, and back to Roll20 after that unless we love it.

Re: Aergraith's Sunday C&C: "Heroes and Scoundrels of Xylh"
What do you all think of playing something else for a couple of sessions for the Fantasy Grounds experiment? I could run Shadows of the Halfling Hall. We can roll up some new characters and get a better feel for FG.
What's unfortunate is it won't help you see how it runs on the GM side. The FG modules don't get enough love. The amount of work someone puts into these is pretty incredible. They are fully hyperlinked, with rollable encounter tables, full encounters to drag to initiative, treasure parcels, maps with clickable pins that bring up CK info, etc.
Still haven't heard from Rhuvein about whether he is up for FG for a few weekends.

Yes, I'd like to try FG (although something is fuzzying in my mind - as though some of us tried this years ago - not sure but I'll probably know when I see it), and would enjoy Shadows of HH.

Cool.
By-the-book single-classed 2nd level characters. Double starting gold. Normal hit-points. 4d6 drop low for stats. No particular setting, just generic C&C.

I've got the program DL'd and look forward to seeing how it works.
Now . . to build a character - always a great part of C&C!!

I meant to respond to your post earlier.
I've been watching the Olympics since 1964 and have never missed any of them.
Winter is fav of course, when one is Swedish and Norwegian!
I really wanted to go to Lillehammer some years back, but my daughter was too young.
Congrats to Norway this Olympics ~ most medals.

Re: Aergraith's Sunday C&C: "Heroes and Scoundrels of Xylh"
So, I have it installed, what do? When I click manage characters it doesn't have C&C available. Can I join the game with your server and then create the character?

Do you allow non typical race/class combos? Such as halfling or gnome wizards?
