Old school C&C game

Post by slimykuotoan »

Picking up the glorious 1st printing C&C Players Handbook hath inspired me to run an 'old school' C&C game, perhaps using the 1st - 3rd printing PHBs, or perhaps the 1st printing solely.

I'll admit Rhuvein, that this'll more than likely be a one shot, unless I take over someone's slot. I'll post once I figure something out.

Ability gen and etcetera -minus encumbrance- will be completely btbs.

Tomes used:

PHB (printing yet to be determined)
M&T 1st printing

Start a new slot . . . say Wednesday morning at 10:30!

NOT! Hehe.

One off sounds OK and I'll watch this thread to see if I can make it!

Halfling cleric for me, methinks!

Niiice. I love the low stats. It's time to get real, and play the game as it was meant to be played...

The first adventure will likely be something from the A series.

Players chosen for this game will certainly be a hand picked lot, with preference given to those who have a tendency to shower me with gifts and/or accolade.

I'm not going to play. Mostly because I am not a fan of straight 3d6. Been there, done that, got over it decades ago. Plus I have ran and played the A series more than enough. So if its taking over a slot I usually play in, it looks like I'll have another free night for a while. Which is fine with me. It will give me more time to do other things.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
Sounds obvious to me! -Gm Michael

Yeah, I wouldn't want to force players in the Tues group to play, so no worries there.
