Shame you couldn't make tonight's game Rhu, it was a great session. Slimy, Aramis, and I had a fun time.
Skype has been acting up for a lot of people lately, hopefully next time it's not a problem.
We definitely needed Rhuvein's cleric to help us fight off all the nasty undead. Ah well, now we can enjoy a nice rest as we travel to meet the king. Now we need Rhuvein's diplomacy!

I think my problem was my router. I noticed browser slowness and my home phone (over the internets) was out the next day. I turn off my compy everyday, but not the router - to keep the phone working. Anywho, a reboot seemed to fix everything!

Yes it is. If you want to join, check out the first page of the thread for details. Not sure how much longer this game will be going for, as it was more of a side game in the beginning, though it has been regular for the last 15 weeks.
Last session the party was escorted by patrol to Eichstatt, despite Nightwind's protest. After a day's journey they arrived and met King Aetherlred II. He was quite drunk and had been spending his time in carnal pursuit before the party had audience with him (several scantily-clad trulls were seen leaving through a side door). The party explained to the king all that had happened near Munstenberg. Apparently the king was not overly concerned with the goings-on and felt confident that all would be taken care of in due time. With a yawn, he motioned to dismiss the adventurers. His councilor however, a wizardly-looking man he called Anhelm, suggested to the king that the party be kept in the city until such a time that more information can be gained. The king agreed with this plan of action. The party was told not to leave the city until called upon by the king's men. They were given free lodging at the Owl & Wolf Inn. Several weeks went by with no word from the king. During that time Smoke the Magician studied every day in his quarters. After some training, Nightwind became the new handler of 3 purchased war dogs. The others spent their time relaxing. They heard rumor that the green-skinned zombies had ceased to appear and those that were present fell motionless, apparently the threat was over. Plenty of reasons were given among the city-dwellers. Smoke wasn't impressed by most of what was discussed among them, chalking it up to mere superstitious gossip. Still, the party had not been contacted by the king's men nor received any word, they continued to wait it out until further instruction. They spent their time in the Craftsmen District, and grew bored and unsure of what to do next.
Several minutes ago, while walking down Brewer's Boulevard, the party wintessed several people running out the front door of the Fullstein Brewery (a dwarven establishment) in panic. After entering the building they noticed the place was in total disarray. The large copper kettle, mashing tun and a hot water tank shook and the fireplace burned brighter than one would expect. A noise came from a closed door and after opening it the party dsicovered a dwarf being attacked by an animated stream of beer that was shooting out of a large cask. The dwarf "fought" the beer the best he could by "attacking" it, i.e. drinking it, but it was no use and after several whips of forceful froth he finally relented and fell to his back. The willfull beer ceased to move, the cask was empty. The dwarf, in his stupor, explained that it must be the ghost of Karl Caskguzzler, who was recently found dead in an alley after being fired for over-drinking on the job, when he left he loudly cursed the place: "Stinking two-faced rickety rust buckets! I'll be back to show you all that nobody cuts off Karl!" Nightwind asked the drunken dwarf where the brewmeister could be found. He said he didn't know where Tappy was and then passed out.
