Haaaaaaaa

In my defense I was smart enough to simply use a dictionary search. But, that is just luck and caution not being prepared to not blindly follow a search.

Rgr,

I will be a few minutes late joining (yet another lacrosse game with my daughter tonight). I will work on my character to have it ready for review at that time. Forgive my ignorance, but, I need to ask...where do I find the racial stats for Hobgoblins? I have reviewed the Kalamar files and your house rules, yet, I did not see any reference. I had previously committed to playing a Hobgoblin Barbarian, however, I see we already have that class covered. I am thinking of a Hob Shaman/Warrior (cleric/fighter), unless there is another need in the party that my character can fill. I'm really open to any character concept...
Achievement is the knowledge that you have studied and worked hard and done the best that is within you. Success is being praised by others. That is nice but not as important or satisfying. Always aim for achievement and forget about success.

Found the race info. Gonna go with a Hob Shaman/Beserker (cleric/3rd ed Barbarian).

Rom, are you playing a berserker or a barbarian? Because they are different in my games and I just want to be clear.

Barlieg does not know. Bathing is not so bad. Barlieg likes the clean fresh feeling of the blood of his foes.

No worries, man. It was gettin' to be about quitting time anyway. Plus, Keh was just about to unleash more orc-bashing, oat-rolling domination which wouldn't have left anything for the other PCs, so, probably best you ended when you did...

Yes. Good game. And great to have Rhuvein back gaming with us.

This particular party is going to have some interesting encounters with all these spellcasters we have. We are either going to be spectacular or get creamed

Awesome session. I love first level.

I have a funny feeling though that Second Orc From The Left on the Balcony is my uncle Blorg. Don't worry, I'll do my duty. He always brings a terrible 3 bean salad to reunions and I think he steals the frisbees.

Rgr that! While doing the recap I realized my swashbuckler and the Half Orc Barbarian are the only front line guys we have, and I am by far NOT a tank ! We will have to play smart and use the spell casters to their full effect or things will go badly for us!

To be fair, he is a barb shaman, sooooooo he isn't strictly a front line fighter :)

Thanks, chief!

I hope to bulk up on armor and weapons as we progress, but agree ~ the spellcasting is going to be quite interesting! ;)

Barbarians are not tanks. You have to have a high AC to be a tank. Barbarians are a blood sponge, dripping their blood everywhere because they get hit so often.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
