Re: Thinking of running the A series.
Well Josh, my options are a little limited.
I either take a break from my Rifts group and CK on Fridays -in which case I lose those friends.
Or, I just stand in line until you need a break on Tuesdays.

Re: Thinking of running the A series.
Oookay then. I just ordered the entire A series, minus A0, A5, A6 and A12, the Monsters & Treasure of Aihrde hardcover, and the After Winters Dark Campaign Maps.
I am definitely running this.
Interested parties, please post.

Totally man; you're in if you want it.
I hope to make this campaign long term -perhaps with intervals in between- and my best CKing effort since I ran Queen of Spiders 'back in the day'.
It's an ambitious project, but hey, that's what life's all about.

Which method are you using for tertiary attributes?

I don't have the necessary platform, etc. to do this. My computers are also ancient.

T-Mo, I think you only need to be able to run Skype. I don't believe Slimey uses a VTT program for his games.tylermo wrote:I don't have the necessary platform, etc. to do this. My computers are also ancient.

He only uses Skype, no mapping software or virtual tabletops of any kind. So you should have no problems joining, as long as you have the system requirements to run Skype, which are minimal.Rigon wrote:T-Mo, I think you only need to be able to run Skype. Re: The Umbrage Saga
One of my computers is a 2005 or 06 model. Has some pop-up issues that have to be taken care of. That one should run skype halfway well as I recall. The temporary computer I'm using is a 2003? Sony Vaio. I'll have to look into it. Also, I'll have to get the details of when the game is running. I've taken players through A0-A3. I own the other parts of the Umbrage, as well as A6-A12.

Re: The Umbrage Saga
Yeah tylermo, I just use Skype, and the dice rolling program Kayolan linked. Occasionally I'll send a pic for reference, but that's it. E'erything else is narrative, imagination, and old-school intensity.
People often remark that the games I run feel 'real'; the sessions are very descriptive, and players have little trouble feeling immersed in the settings.

No need to roll together. Yes, starting money from the PHB. Full hit points at first level.

It's the same character as the verdant rage game, I just downgraded everything to make him 1st level (e.g. made Winnie a cub)
