A really handy site, especially the random generators, for 1E AD&D/OSRIC type games.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

I thought I'd update My character sheet. I removed all of my stolen maci items from the equation. I kept a record of them, just in case we get them back.

Nate, did we figure out how we were splitting the javelins of lightening up. there are 3 of them.

And Tree, the javelins are in the M&T on page 103. it becomes a 5d6 lightening bolt, save for half.

Yeah, I know. Remember I said we were going by the 1E DMG because it has a lot more info. As I remember Daithan got all the Javelins. I don't care about the damage, so if you would rather go by the 5d6 rather than 20/10, just say so, but the 1E DMG spells out all the other parameters, such as range, area of effect, +2 for purposes of what can be hit by it, but not to hit and damage, etc...

I'm fine with the 1e DMG description. I must have missed the it when you said about the M&T. And I think Nate wanted some of the javelin action.

I do recall that being brought up, then it was pointed out he has his Flametongue back.

Rigon can have the javelins. I only mentioned it because two people throwing them in one round would be devastating. They will have limited use, as I suspect Rigon will not be anxious to waste them. (Though, he did learn a lesson about reserving magic items when he died and became a badger. Maybe he will chuck then during the three rounds of our next combat.)

Just a heads up, the third Monday from now, November 26th, I will be on vacation in Las Vegas. If I have internet, I will probably still run my game, if I don't, or we decide to go out that evening, I won't. Since that is the Monday after the US Thanksgiving, let me know if you guys would just rather cancel and plan other things.

I'm not sure if I'll be home or not. I'm going to the mountains on Thursday and spending the weekend. My plan is to go hunting on the 26th in the mountains and I might take the 27th (Tuesday) off as well and stay another night.

We should have a game tonight. As an FYI I am trying to convince my wife to go to the hospital today. She is a stubborn witch and is trying to put it off yet one more day. Since she rarely ever listens to me we probably won't be going today.

OK, my wife's pain is escalating, so rather than run the game I am going to keep pressuring her into going to the ER. Hopefully her pain will make her listen to me. See you in two weeks.

Some changes were made to Roll 20, don't know if I will have time to institute any of them by tonights session. The big one is Dynamic Lighting. But to institute it I will need time to go in and draw the boundary lines.

I would also like your help figuring out how to make Attributes and Abilities on your character sheets work with macros (Item 5):

I was playing around with it. It looks fairly straight forward. It will just be time consuming. You might want to have people start doing it before the next game.

I was hoping to run the game tonight, but I am still sick. Combine that with still doing the Veteran training I feel too wiped out to run the game tonight.

Sorry.

I hope you all have a safe and happy holiday season, and I hope to see you all the Monday after Christmas. I think most of you thought you would be able to game then. Hopefully I will too. I certainly expect to.
