You are aware more C&C DCC's from Goodman

Post by Treebore »

are coming, right?

I've been thinking it was rather obvious/likely, but since Joe has announced that the current one is in lay out and that more are being planned I thought, after some prodding, that I should make sure that everyone here knows for sure.

So it is official, more than one more Goodman DCC for C&C is forthcoming.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Knew it when Chris announced it. Haven't forgotten it. Waiting for them to come. Then, I'll decide to get it, or not. Probably will though.

See? I missed the Chris announcement, but caught Joe's, in a thread where it would easily get lost.

I'm starting to wonder if they intentionally post news tidbits like that.

Heh, they might. Gets you to read every thread. Wait, that's the dark side of me...

Of course they don't! Yeah! They just are really subtle. That's the e-ticket!

Cool for you to find it, and make it known again, though, for those who really need another fixin' o' modularity!

I think I did know this might be coming, but haven't thought or seen any updates for a while . . . so this is indeed, great news!

What I remember hearing, and I think most of you are aware how bad my memory can be, was that anothe ONE was in discussion/talks, etc...

In this Joe outright says one is in layout and that more (which indicates an unknown number) are in the pipeline.

Hopefully he will give more info, such as are any more conversions of DCC's or ar these all original.

Heck, I'll just go e-mail him.

YEEEEESSSS! I got Palace of Shadows and loved it. I'm going to get Mysterious Tower and was hoping they would do more. GG has done great C&C work and needs to do more!

Let's do it! Let's get these things to press. More C&C specific modules are gooder.

Now read the "Joe Goodman told me" thread in General. Sorry, but I hate posting twice.

Ah, I remember hearing this now. Yes, GG was supposed to convert a few more DCC modules to C&C, but this thread got me to thinking that they may make some new ones. Shame. I wonder wich ones they are going to convert?

Joe's open to submissions for C&C modules as I recall. A while back someone had asked him why there were not more C&C modules. His reply implied it had to do with more people not sending in submissions.

Sometimes the best way to get what you want out in the market is to write it.

seem to recall reading that Steve was wanting more module writers as well. seems that the demand is outpacing the supply.

guess that's a good thing.

Cheers,

I finally heard from Joe Goodman on my DCC 12.5 1E module. Apparently there were some problems, but it's in the mail. Should be an easy convert to C&C, but I'm just thinking that he should have had Chris do a quick conversion for a PDF download. It would appeal to more fans, I would think.

It makes me happy to hear my work is appreciated! I have done 2 more mods for GG in addition to these 2, for a total of 4 now (1 original and 3 conversions).

I have officially begun work on another one, this time, geared for higher level parties. Thats all the cat I'll let out of the bag until something official is announced, though...

Well, Joe said only DCC conversions are being done. So unless you pitched a proposal for something new, there are not that many DCC's aimed at highter levels.

Personally I hope it is "Crypt of the Devil Lich".

AWESOME!

Anyone have any idea when the print version is coming out? Maybe I should try and answer my own question and visit the Goodman site.
