Amazing Adventures available in stores?
Im coming to this a little late, so forgive me if this has been covered. Has there been an announced in stores date yet, or projected date yet? Looking forward to the book, any help would be appreciated.
Re: Amazing Adventures available in stores?
Trolls just posted on facebook yesterday that it should hit stores in a couple of weeks--the pre-order packages are still available at this time.
Re: Amazing Adventures available in stores?
Can this be ordered from the major distributors yet? I'd love to place an order with my FLGS.
Re: Amazing Adventures available in stores?

Re: Amazing Adventures available in stores?
No idea - you'd have to ask the Trolls. I don't have a new PDF. I'll need to ask Steve about that...
Re: Amazing Adventures available in stores?
The front page art is different and according to Steve in another thread, he added "the errata that appears in the Siege Engine games forums. "Relaxo wrote:How is the new pdf download different from the one i've got already? new cover? it's like, 20 megs larger.

I am told that yes, they will be incorporating all the errata.

I'm wrong. The only difference between the first and second downloads from TLG are the covers. The 2nd download does NOT have the errata included. I checked my 2nd download with Grey Elf's errata document and known of it seems to have been incorporated into the new download.
I hope Steve adds the errata into the print version at least.

Re: Amazing Adventures available in stores?
My RPGNow.com download has no cover. Is this a mistake? I feel like I'm missing out on Peter's epic art.

Odd. I know that Peter was checking on the errata yesterday because I was talking to him while he was doing it.dachda wrote:I'm wrong. The 2nd download email I got came on Monday, so that would be before Peter was doing the errata then. Steve needs to release the pdf a third time so we can get the corrected copy.
Re: Amazing Adventures available in stores?
Well he was checking on the errata, not working on them....making sure everything was in there.
Re: Amazing Adventures available in stores?
I didn't check everything. But none of the Firearms Errata for pg 39 was in the 2nd download. Nor was the Exploding and Imploding Dice pg 143 corrected. Nor Types of Saving throws pg 143. Nor is Movement in the Combat Round pg 149.The Grey Elf wrote:Well he was checking on the errata, not working on them....making sure everything was in there.
I could check for more, but my point is made. The errata wasn't corrected in the 2nd download.
Re: Amazing Adventures available in stores?
Sorry if I came across as challenging you--not my intent. It's just strange that it wasn't included. I do know that Pete got it all in there, and it should be incorporated into the print version, so I presume the PDF will also be updated.
Re: Amazing Adventures available in stores?
Oh I didnt' feel challenged so no worries. Just wanted to let you know that the link I got for the 2nd download, was for a pdf that did not have all the corrections. Why that is I don't know. But I'd love to be able to download a 3rd time to actually get the corrected version. Will that happen do you know? The Grey Elf wrote:Sorry if I came across as challenging you--not my intent. Re: Amazing Adventures available in stores?
Sorry, all of that is on the Trolls' end--I have nothing at all to do with the production process

Just for my own edification, is AA now out in the stores?
I love looking through the pdf but always prefer to have a copy to hold in my hands.

Re: Amazing Adventures available in stores?
Not so far as I know. I believe the Trolls said it was going to press last week (though I could be in error about that).
Re: Amazing Adventures available in stores?
Thank's for the information. I'll have to start looking for it.

Re: Amazing Adventures available in stores?
I'm still kicking myself for not picking up a copy at GenCon from the TLG booth. I held off since I have the whole kickstarter thing coming and figured it was going to be done soon, but I would have enjoyed reading AA for the past 6 weeks a lot more with a paper copy instead of a PDF.
Oh, well. Live and learn.

I just cant run the game till I got a book for my players to thumb through. I dont think passing my kindle around is going to cut it.
Re: Amazing Adventures available in stores?
Steve just posted on my facebook page that they are packing pre-orders and getting ready to ship to distributors.
Re: Amazing Adventures available in stores?
Great news!
I'll be checking with my FLGS in the next couple of weeks.

Re: Amazing Adventures available in stores?
Amazing Adventures shipped to distributors yesterday. So it should be available in stores in a week or two. I'm not sure if the screens and adventure are out to distributors as well, but if they're not yet I presume they will be very soon (they are done; I know that much).
Remember to go to your FLGS and ask them to stock it!!!

I haven't seen my preorder yet. They shipped them first correct??
Re: Amazing Adventures available in stores?
Just preordered my copy.
The cashier estimated that it would be two to three weeks before it came in.

I can understand a delay if you just ordered it. But I ordered months ago. I would expect my preorder would ship before it lands in my local FLGS!Kathulos wrote:Just preordered my copy.
