It shipped? Because that would be rockin'. I need some more new game material to read. Oh yeah, bust-ass (that means good in these parts) too!

Ok. I didn't see it listed or my name in the contributors section, so I thought it got moved to the next issue. Cool beans, though.
I need to start preparing another article.

Sometimes you gotta slap the Trolls and remind 'em to fully update things on the web pages - but they've gotten a lot better this year especially
PS - Welcome to C&C-land - enjoyed Stormbringer Castle - adapted a portion of it into my Aihrde C&C campaign last year. so looking forward to your adventures in Crusader (waiting on 17 & 18 - forgot my subscrip had lapsed )

Lol! So that's what's going on.

Thanks very much! I enjoyed writing the Stormbringer adventures, so it is good to hear that folks are putting them to use. If time allows, I hope to produce many more adventures for Crusader. I really enjoy the magazine, and it is great to be a part of it.
I'm currently working on two adventures to run at ConCarolinas at the end of the month. Maybe they will make it into Crusader. We'll see.

There is no reason to slap us poor old trolls. We never place all of the articles on the front page preview. I look forward to Christina sending over a lot of articles. She is a very talented designer.
Letting your subscription lapse, tsk, tsk, tsk.
I need all of you readers getting subscriptions. We are still far away from making a profit on the magazine. Please talk it up among your friends.

Thanks, Jim. I will be submitting something for 19. Not sure what yet, but I'm in.

I'm running two C&C games at ConCarolinas next weekend. Any chance I could get some recent back issues to hand out to the players to spark interest? I'm estimating about 12 players total. I know I have 10 signed up already.

As for the slapping - lol - just joking - tho it might be apropos for Davis, Breakdaddy and McBain sometimes.... got Duck Tape?
And always talking it up - the magazine has become quite excellent - more players for C&C will help, and with the books for the "Fourth Crusade" redesign and new ones this should (in my own humble opinion) continue to trend upward this year!

Do you not let people know that their prescription is going to end? Like inserting a piece of paper into the envelope saying the next issue will be their last unless the resubscribe. And maybe some info on how easy it will be to resubscribe.
I'd imagine it will cut down on the number of people who do not re-up with The Crusader.

When mine came due, I got a blue paper to resub with a return envelope, so I think they are on it.

Yes.... I got one at one point to and resubscribed. I'm also happy to say that I've never had any issues with receiving any of my issues since me renewal either which is a plus!

My issue arrived today along with my AGP goodies. It was a banner mail day.
Anyhow, I've only had a chance to skim it, but it looks great.
On a side note, I'm really enjoying the "4th Crusade" marketing push. If all goes as planned, I think Gen Con will be a big event for TLG and C&C this year.

Got my issue today! Just wanted to let everyone know that Didjer's Crabhouse has a companion adventure, "Baked Askalan," that is mentioned in the text. I have already turned that in to Jim, so I'm guessing it will be in Issue 19, though the tavern info doesn't say when to expect it.
Jim, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Christina, I noticed that the crab shack was there but no adventure. Is that next issue?

Yes, see a few notes up where I asked and Jim confirmed.

Another great issue.
I've got one minor quibble though, not necessarily with this issue but the Crusader in general.
Advertisements for TLG stuff.
Could we get advertisements that don't use release dates that glaringly point out that some products aren't making the release schedule?
I don't mind the delays in TLG production, but I do wince at adverts that point it out so readily. usually at least 1-2 per issue.
For example, in #18 the advertisement for the A-Series glaringly shows how far behind these modules have fallen. About 5 modules off in regards to what the add suggests. Maybe the trolls could do some less date oriented ads for the mag.
I loved that Goodman Games had an add in there. Nice to see some outside interest in advertising now.
