I know, I know, I'm slacking and should had this thread up a couple weeks ago. Well here it is now so that anyone who wants to discuss the next volume can. Sorry for the delay.

I hope to have at least some item write ups for you. I’m not sure how much and what exactly, but I’ll have something for you.

In 2 more weeks I’ll be finished with teaching my classes and filling in for another, so will have at least a little free time to work on “fun” stuff.

What are you looking for, and what is the submission deadline?

As far as I know we're still looking for the same stuff we always were. I would like to see material that comes from actual campaigns. One thing I see DD as is a place where we can showcase what is going on in our own personal games and campaigns. Material created just for DD is fine however, I think the strength of the book will come from seeing what individual groups have done.

As for a deadline, IIRC we were going for an October release but that looks like it won't happen. It is already mid August and I have been lax is getting things together. Just send the stuff in and we'll work out the details.

Regarding deadlines, I have every intention in releasing the next issue for Halloween.

Deadlines for submissions is midnight (EST), September 30th.

Remember, the submission needn't be epic... it could be as simple as an item, a critter, or even a few of both!

I will try to scrounge up (and create, natch!) some family-friendly art for this one too, if possible! My commission queue is a little backed up, but when I churn through it, I've had a few ideas that I should be able to render post-haste!

Hey folks!

If you liked what you saw in the last issue ... please feel free to start sending me some material. To date, I have received NOTHING new. So come on... Halloween is just around the corner and that should provide at least a couple of ideas.

I just hit send on my input.

Its not much, and they need to be clean up a bit ... sorry. My new class has a nasty long research paper that is killing all my time and I can't tighten my shot group up on them

Ditto-ish. In my case, my usual home activity has not been... well, usual... whilst I try to take over some of the home chores and pressures from a slightly pregnant wife. I will do my best to remember to send some art your direction tonight.

Thanks guys! I've started receiving a couple of submissions and your contributions are all welcome. Bill's right -- it doesn't have to be perfect. That said, Lurker -- I just took a quick glance at the material you've sent me and you are far too modest and perhaps a bit too critical of your efforts. In one word: Fantastic! Bill, I also love your submission for several reasons (the Moorcock influence being just a small one). Also, thanks to ArgoForg, I have we've got some really fantastic pics to grace the pages of the newsletter.

There is only one problem with these submissions and those others I'm also expecting in the next few days -- I will be forced to increase the page count. ;)

In all seriousness, to those who have contributed and those considering to do so, you have my thanks. I appreciate the hard work and my pledge to my fellow crusaders is to continue to put out a free quality product. Please keep those submissions coming.

Thanks Glad you liked it. I'd like to have had more back story and polish on them, but again the praise is appreciated.

If you want, you could theoretically grab the Arduin conversion stuff... I dunno if you want it.

It *is* pretty awesome material... Did you want to write a small intro for any of the stuff?

I'll happily use it though and I could probably spread out the material in more than one newsletter as well.

Thanks for the kind words... Sometime in a couple weeks (likely after your American Thanksgiving), I'll start up a thread for issue 7. I certainly would love for Domesday to grow a bit more. :)

Pretty nice, maybe I'll add something for the next one. (Seeing as how The Crusader is in a holding pattern.)

I know you can't think of everything to offer as inspiration, but Sin City (Both comic and movie) would've been a good example of high level pulp characters.

Marv is a beast.
