not print (a special print run is way too expensive unless lots of people want to buy it) but maybe PDF.

If you have acrobat you can do it yourself probably.

Convert Color to Grayscale in Adobe Acrobat

Open PDF file in Acrobat. Select Print Production from the toolbar on the right.
Select Preflight.
Pull down the Essentials tab & select Prepress, Color, and Transparency.
Choose Convert to Grayscale from the Convert Colors menu. ...
Once you select Save, Adobe will convert your file.

Just curious, why B&W?

Personally, I agree. crisp black print on non-glossy paper. Ideally, I wanted highest cotton content paper and I would gladly pay to have it. It is possible I have printed and leather bound books in that in the past and they are a joy to hold and read and they are half the weight too. But they claim it cannot be done.
