B&W for the most part.
Edit to add: Non glossy paper and wide margins are a bonus.

AD&D per se is as dead a system as Latin is a language, while the C&C game has much the same spirit and nearly the same mechanics. --Gary Gygax 8/16/06

Black and white so I can afford more books.
...If I had unlimited money, color, and as lavish and ornate as humanly possible please.

Non-glossy (this isn't Glamour Mag), Black ink clean large font (times new roman 12 pt), on white paper, ideally high cotton content with leather binding... made by master Gnomes... if we're going to dream, dream big.

I do like color, but black and white is easier to read.

Re: Do you prefer colour or black and white rpg books?
I prefer black print on white but otherwise either is fine.
Re: Do you prefer colour or black and white rpg books?
B&W with color covers are preferred. I don't mind glossy pages.
Re: Do you prefer colour or black and white rpg books?
I'd have to go with B&W.
Re: Do you prefer colour or black and white rpg books?
Depends.
If its a superfluous expense (doesn't really add much) and increases the price, I don't need it. But some are enhanced by color and the price raise does make sense then.
In general, though, B&W interiors with a good cover.

Re: Do you prefer colour or black and white rpg books?
I'll continue the grognardian preference for B&W with color covers, though I also like how some newer games like AS&SH use a few color plates in addition to the primarily black & white art.

Black and white. Gideon Thorne's (i.e., Peter Bradley's) artwork looks better in B&W.

I just want the print in black and white, color your ass off on the images and artwork...
