Best to Treebore

Post by DMMike »

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum...mods feel free to move.

I just found out last night Treebore's been in the hospital for the past 10 days. I don't know what's wrong, but since I don't know if he's out yet I wanted to post this in a public area for those (like me) who had no idea.

Get well soon! I'm sure I speak for everyone, we miss you on the boards!

God. I was wondering about him 2 days ago. Hoping that he'd got on a vacay or something. I'll be praying for him. :!:

He was supposed to have surgery yesterday (as of the last info I had) and should be recouping by now. I haven't been in contact with the family yet to find out how he is doing, but he was very active on G+ yesterday for the first time since he went into the hospital. Which is a good sign. I know we've missed him at our online games and can't wait for him to return. I'll try to contact one of the kids to see how he is doing later this evening and let everyone know.

He's been missed at our (virtual) table, hoping all is well and he recovers soon. If you see this Treebore, you should know that I played your character this last Tuesday :)

Just talked to Tree's daughter. His surgery was more complicated than the family wanted and there were a few complications after the surgery. Tree is in the ICU and will be in the hospital for another week or so. Send him your thoughts and prayers and well wishes and hopefully he will be back before to long. I'll try to keep in touch with the family and continue to update here until Tree can get back and let us know he is on the mend.

Late night update: complications not responding to treatment and not getting better. They induced a medical coma to try to get a handle on it.

Send all the positive thoughts you have.

I'm not sure that C&C has definitive rules for aid/assist/help another like many d20 variants do. But I'd bet money that treebore has some sweet houserule for it in his long list of sweet house rules. In that spirit, I'd like to roll to assist his saving throw and/or attribute check with one of my lucky dice. Ok, here goes! Get well treebore!

I'd seen his comment on G+ earlier. Sucks that things got so serious. He's a good guy. Doesn't deserve this @#$*.
