Dang!

Post by Troll Root »

I walked out into the print shop and could not figure out whether Steve was working on the perfect binder machine, or if he was trying to take a nap!!

With those fur lined moccasins by his feet? Absolutely! The real story is he probably passed out from heat exhaustion and that is where he landed.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Nice shoes, Stephen! Where does one buy moccasins in 2013? ;-) Todd, you had me worried. I assumed your post was in reference to the binder, but thought other bad news might accompany it.

That's right, SR. One minute Stephen and Davis could be working on a binder or unclogging a toilet...all right in the middle of slaving away on Codex of Aihrde. Now you know. And, knowing is half the battle. ;-)

You know what else is located in (near) Little Rock, Arkansas?

...Wal-Mart's world headquarters and distribution center...

Just sayin'.

Walmart HQ is in Bentonville, Arkansas. I think the shoes are probably from some Arkansasy type store...Moccasin Outlet! Or, maybe he stops off at Stuckey's for Dr. Pepper, a pecan log, and a pair of moccasins.

Indeed. Further away from LR than I thought. But, then again, I'm not from there. :)

Those are NOT moccasins. Wal-mart just uses them to make them more appealing.

Moccasins are lovingly made, by an individual, not in a sweat shop.

Cyril, I forget. With Boone's Farm it isn't a good year, it's a good week. The newer the better.

Stephen, if Converse ever offers a Chuck Taylor All-Star version of those moccasins (high top, of course)I could maybe go for it. As for the duct tape...I once taped up a well-used, over-stuffed wallet. It was pretty much like that huge ass wallet George Costanza had on Seinfeld. ;-)

Still stands as one of my favorite jokes from working in a package store.
