It's the in PHB - that should be your first stop. The CKG has some additional rules for it as well, but they are optional.

Tracking is a ranger class skill, that allows rangers to track (natch). It works like any siege check (it's a WIS check, IIRC).

Ah thanks.... No rangers in the condensed guide also :S

Im going to buying the CKG, PHB and M/T books very soon. ;)

Correct, it's a Wisdom Siege check.

Tracking checks are used less frequently these days, when a tracking debit card can be more convenient and faster. Ironically, a tracking check is easier to keep track of, while a tracking card transaction is easily forgotten...the one forces you to write the information, the other doesn't. This means the tracking that trackers track once tracked trackers' tracking.
