Greetings All!
New to these forums and looking forward to running my first C&C game, question though, I was looking at the Monk and noticed...a D12 for Hit Points? Is that right? Does that not seem a bit excessive? Anyone house-ruling that down to a d8 or a d10? Is it "to tough"?

The monk is tough, but not usually a huge damage dealer, specifically if not using hand-to-hand weapons. In that case, give that monk the HPs! For the most part, IMO, I think the monk's abilities as is are pretty light. I think they need the d12 HPs.

The d12 for C&C Monks works well. Short answer, the monks high hp balances their low ac. This allows them to contribute in combat and make good use of their high movement.
Note, I have no problem giving Fighters (not their sub classes) a d12 for hp.
