Heya, Troll Lords. So I have a bunch of questions regarding the PDFs...kidding, KIDDING!

But seriously, I know we discussed the screens that you put the kibosh on for being below your expectations. Any new time table on those for showing up in the online store?

Thanks!

Hey, @NJPigBard! Thanks so much for coming out and hanging with us at TrollCon East, we had a blast. To answer your question, we hope to have them ready by the end of March, but if it is before that, you will see them on our TLG Storefront.

@ Tim

Hey, no worries, man! Trollcon was a blast. Thanks for making the trip up. Everyone appreciated it for sure. And I'll make sure to find a way to play Monday nights. Heck or high-water!

Great news about the screen. Thanks!

Now that all the pre-orders of the Castle Keepers guide have shipped...any idea when the 'Castle & Crusades Complete PREORDER' will ship? I have been anxiously awaiting this as I've been stuck with the pdfs for now

@Sedrik -- I will find out for sure what's going on with the preorders on complete set tomorrow and post back here, but I think it's a matter of a very short time before that is taken off preorder and goes to ahipping. there are some issues to be settled, but I'll find out from Steve and either he or myself will post back her ASAP. thanks, tim

I think part of the delay is that Steve is printing the PHB and M&T in the same matte style as the CKG in order to insure the set of books all match. That will be a fine looking set, my friends. I am another one who waited on ordering the CKG when I found out about this set. I may be the only fan out here who doesn't even have the pdf yet! lol. Patience Grasshopper.

Sedrik,

The problem on the Complete's are two fold, getting the boxes done (the slip sleeve) and as piperdog said, getting the covers lined up. This last won't take a day or so, as soon as those slip sleeves are ready to go. In theory that is today (the 18th) So I anticipate them shipping out mid week next week.

Thanks for the continued patience!
Steve

So if I understand it, the CKG itself is already shipping to retailers? And the Complete set should ship to retailers next week sometime? I am waiting for my favorite online store to get it before I order.

Bah, when you include the 800+ posts I lost in the convert, I'd be well over 3000 by now....

I'll hold you to that number in about 400 posts BD

Tim et al. What is the typical wait for shipping to Canada. Been 6 weeks now. I asked Steve if a tracking number was available so at least I'd know where the CKG is, but no reply (to the orders@.... address).

@LordSeurek -- I'm not sure why it is taking so long. My apologies...I know you live way up in Canada, so it may take a while but shouldn't take forever. Let me see what I can find out and I'll let you know ASAP.

Sorry if this is trivial and geeky.

What do the module codes mean, and what modules belong to each?

A is for Aihrde, Aenochia? for the "Umbrage Saga"
DB for Dirty Bowbie's Inn (though these are labeled as Haunted Highlands?)
I is for Inzae?

What about B, C, D, S, U?

If they are by location, it seems the C are in the Darkenfold Forest, but a couple of modules set there are not in the C series.

Some that have no code, at least my copy (they seem to come and go sometimes):
Lure of Delusion (Darkenfold, Aihrde)
Lion in the Ropes (The Gelderland?)
Heart of Glass (Sea towns of Ihlsa, Aihrde)

Standalones:
They Call Him Guff
Where Cool Waters Run
(though the product number prefix is EP, for episodic?)

[edit... I see in the product catalog Lure of Delusion is S1, and Dwarven Glory is now S2 , though DG: Looking Stones was D0 in PDF, or I think it's a D...)

A is indeed for Aihrde, the in-sequence modules that follow from Rising Knight and will ultimately end up with Aufstrag and Coburg the undying down the road.

DB is Dirty Bowbe, because that's not just the name of the Inn in the mods, it's author Casey Christofferson's character/gamer id
What about B, C, D, S, U?

If they are by location, it seems the C are in the Darkenfold Forest, but a couple of modules set there are not in the C series.
C was orginally for "conversion" I believe, as in converted from earlier d20 mods I believe, but I believe the designation has principally been for the 2 Darkenfold mods

D = Davis written
S = Steve written (unless I'm mistaken, and in these cases stand-alones that aren't part of a series - i.e. S2 is compilation of Dwarven Glory adventures not having any connection to S3, the update of Malady of Kings that's in Aihrde, but is unrelated to the A series or C mods)

U = Universal (Stand alone mods like Mike Stewart's Verdant Rage, Casey Canfield's Fingers of the Foresaken Hand, etc. that aren't specifically in any setting).

Don't recognize any "B" classifications - only the DB for Casey's HH stuff.

"I" however stands for Inzae and is the trilogy of mods set in that parallel dark world to Aihrde (Davis's baby)
Some that have no code, at least my copy (they seem to come and go sometimes):
Lure of Delusion (Darkenfold, Aihrde)
Lion in the Ropes (The Gelderland?)
Heart of Glass (Sea towns of Ihlsa, Aihrde)

Standalones:
They Call Him Guff
Where Cool Waters Run
(though the product number prefix is EP, for episodic?)
Lure of Delusion was written for myself and Eric Piper to run at GenCon 2009, and is S1 (again, Steve-written, in Darkenfold, but not tied to C mods)

Lion in Ropes has no designation, was free adventure for getting things going for C&C

Heart of Glass - doesn't have a designation, though co-written by Steve and Todd Gray

At least that's how I have understood it, if I'm wrong the Trolls will surely chime in and correct mayhaps...

[edit... I see in the product catalog Lure of Delusion is S1, and Dwarven Glory is now S2 , though DG: Looking Stones was D0 in PDF, or I think it's a D...)[/quote]

Awesome, thanks. I was cleaning up my hard drive with all of the PDFs I have been getting from RPGNow, and wanted to make folders with something more informative than "A", S", etc...

Ok...I asked this question earlier..but I need to ask again as it doesn't seem to shipped yet....When is 'Castles & Crusades Complete preorder' going to ship? sometime soon?

At the same time I have ordered some other stuff from you guys (Order #381)and was wondering when that would be shipped as well?

@sedrik -- we are not in the office today, but Mark was in and the Completes should start shipping Monday. If your order is being shipped, it should be bundled together. When we get back in the shop, we will double check for you, but if you get it before then, post here, okay? Thanks, Tim

Just to be clear, the Complete set will all be the new matte finish, correct? I hope so, because that would be fantastic. Do we have any idea when the CKG as well as the Complete set will find it's way to the game stores?

@piperdog -- the complete set will be in the new matte finish. and they are shipping now to distributors and should be in stores before you know it!

Just a quick note Tim. My CKG arrived in the mail today, yeah!

Very glad to have it, although the pages in the book are warped, BAD..... Also, the text is a little off. Very clear and sorta bold in the inside part of the page (close to the bind), but its gets very light as in the first column (closer to the edge of the book). No worries, it can be read. Maybe I'll stick heavy books on top of it to try and get the warp out of the pages :)

Thanks for all the help Tim, much appreciated!

I am hoping to see the CKG (and slipcase set) appear at my favorite online stores. I keep checking and still no CKG there. I know it will be soon though.

I have been looking at my favorite store www.superherogameland.com, but also frpgames.com, trollandtoad.com, and others that I can't think of off the top of my head and no one is carrying the CKG yet. Superherogameland has listed the CKG (as well as the slipcase set), as well as M&T of Aihrde hardcover and Dark Journey, listing them all as preorder status, so I know it's a matter of time before they get them in. That store is crazy in it's steep discounts, usually a standard 30% of retail, sometimes more. I usually can't find it cheaper anywhere else on the planet, and they ship fast, as well as free shipping on orders over 125 bucks.

Got my copy of the CKG at Garycon and I really like it. But there are some printing errors on the book pages 44 and 88. Is there any book exchange for this?

@old school gamer: please email me at [email protected] and let me know what the errors are and i'm sure we can figure out a way to exchange the book for you.

We hope to begin production by the end of next week, Demiurge... There are a few print jobs to do before it, but hopefully within a week or two it will be available in the TLG store.

Tim my Man! How goes the progress toward getting this elusive slipcase set out to my stores? I keep on checkin'. My fave online store (www.superherogameland.com) has the slipcase set at least appearing now on the site, with a pricetag of $49 bucks, which is a steal fellas.
