No. Appearing: 1
Attack: Vine (1 per front, back, and each side) 1d8 + poison
Special: Entangle, Poison Type IV, Impale, Blindsense 60’, Weapon Immunity-half
The Ironthorn appears as a waxy shrub with few, if any, leaves approximately 15-feet tall and is covered in wicked foot-long thorns. Bones and other weatherworn items protrude from its gnarled limbs and roots. The ironthorn will attack any creature passing within 20-feet of it, lashing out with a vine to whichever side of it the creature is on. It will attempt to coil around its victim and drag them back into the main mass of the plant to slowly die upon its poison thorns.
Ironthorn sap is prized as a hardening agent used in making armor and other items though the collection of the sap is extremely dangerous and difficult.
Entangle – Any creature hit by a vine must make a STR save or be wrapped up in the vine and immobilized much like the spell of the same name.
Impale – Creatures dragged back into the main body of the ironthorn will be impaled by numerous thorns as the branches and vines waiting there wrap around them. Victims caught like this will suffer an additional 6d4+2 damage plus being poisoned continuously each round they are stuck.
Weapon Immunity: Half – The bark and wood of the ironthorn is so dense that weapons have a tough time penetrating it thus doing only half normal damage.
