Lets play.

There is a good chance of rain in SC.
Too bad "Mad Dog" can't make it.
Who dropped?
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Sorry guys I can't make it - will be driving from Springfield MO to Wisconsin all day. I'll be back for the next one!
Of course my wife and I tip our caps as we pass Lake Geneva on the interstate.

Another great gaming session!! Thanks Kyle!

I never used to mind ants all that much...Now I hate them!

Even in real life, as I was delivering the computer I was working on today, I was bitten on the legs several times by fireants.

Agreed. Very gritty!

I may be missing next session on the third (Labor Day Weekend). I'll let you know for sure as soon as I know.

Good, I was hoping that they weren't to B movie esque. I am trying to do a campaign world that does not rely on goblinoids as the primary enemy especially at low levels, without relying on undead. So I figured a bunch of halfling sized ants would do the trick. It has been hard to find 1HD monsters to do a low level adventure with when you are avoiding goblins, kobolds and orcs. But don't worry they will get there soon.

Nothing wrong with B-Movies!
But no, I didn't find it campy at all. It flowed along nicely and even though we kicked some butt the first few encounters, the next few put us back in our place!

The die bot went through some real highs and lows, there wern't many in between d20 rolls. I thought for a while you were going to get through unscathed. But don't fear the BBEG still awaits. Or is that FEAR ME RUN IN HORROR?

Hey, I enjoyed it.

Plus one of my favorite movies, or series of movies, were the ones with the giant irradiated ants, wasps, preying mantis, etc...

The chat log is up, I am working on the journal, I am trying to add some dialogue to make it seem more literary.

I know how you feel. I have a chronic "vegus nerve" problem in my lower right back. When it is bad I can't drive, can barely walk, etc...

In fact I had a big flare up Saturday and played Sunday while doped up on pain killers. Its getting a lot better today. As long as I am careful enough not to irritate it again it should calm down to "normal" in the next day or two.

I find laying flat on the floor to be a big help. Its just a real "pain" to get up when the pain is at a high level and it is ready to spasm at the slightest provocation.

No, not fun. I definitely feel your pain Vestin.

My backs still screwed at the moment but my docs just put me on some stronger pain killers today and so I hope thats going to help.

Is the next game on this sunday ?, if so I will try to get involved (if not for the whole session I will plan to come online to say HI and chat).

Whats the point in being a cleric and I cant use a cure light wounds on myself grrrr.

Sorry to hear about the back - I get occasional "tweaks" and those are not any fun. Funny point re:CLW

I am going to play each session as planned, unless something big comes up. Even if you can only play for a short time, please stop by. Anyway, we will continue with the dungeon crawl next session.

Right now I expect to playing Sunday. However, we have guests coming over tomorrow. They may end up staying over night. If that happens they will probably still be here at game time for me on Sunday (11 AM). If so I'll sign in as soon as I can.

But like I said, I SHOULD be on time.

My wife came out a little while ago and said, "We have to go and pick up a Nigerian Goat at 12:00 on Sunday."

I look at her.

"What?"

"No we aren't."

"Why not?"

"Remember I didn't have that on-line Chat game last Sunday?"

"Yes."

"Well, that means it is this Sunday. Every other Sunday, remember?"

"Oh! Yeah. OK."

"I'll be done by 2:00 PM."

"Alright. I'll call the guy back and tell him we should be there around 3:00."

"Sounds good."

Isn't cooperation wonderful! I love my wife!

Sounds like you have a good thing there Treebore. One question; what do you need a Nigerian goat for? I understand needing a goat, but what is the importance of a Nigerian goat?
