I've been toying with the idea of running a PBP for a while now. dcfitch's thread was just the kick in the butt I needed to pull the trigger.

I plan on running the game on rpol.net. What I need are players. Is anyone interested in playing?

I'll put together a more specific sales pitch over the next few days. I plan to start the PCs at 2nd level with an expected post rate of once every two days. I'll handle dice rolls and use group initiative. More details to follow if there is interest.

I've been running a home face to face game for several years and have run C&C at Gary Con the last two years. I'm strong at running combat and I think at designing adventures in response to player choices. My weaker areas are fleshing out NPC personalities and flavor/descriptions. I'm looking forward to running a PBP since I think it will be conducive to improving those areas.

If/when you get this game up and running, I am interested in playing. I have actually never "played" C&C before as a player, so it would be neat to see it from the other side.

Thanks,

Pawn

Awesome! I'm hard at work setting up the game. it's taking some time to learn the RPOL interface. At the moment, I'm tweaking the house rules and chargen threads. I hope to have the game ready to accept players by the end of the week. I'll make a post here (and hopefully include a link to the game) when I am ready to accept requests to join.

Things fell into place more quickly than I expected. You can find the game here.

I've got three players lined up with 2 more expressing interest. I'll probably cap the game at 6 players. If you want in, please chime in soon.

I think the CK is still accepting players:

There is. I'll follow up with a response to your private message at RPoL.

I'm surprised (and pleased!) with how fast the game has filled up. I've got 6 requests to join with another possible player interested. I won't be taking any more players beyond the ones who have expressed interest at this point. If players drop out, I'll let folks know I am accepting requests to join again.

One of my players had to drop out, so I have an opening. You can take over the party's monk or start a new PC.

Check out the game here.

One of my players had to drop out, so I've got an open slot. The party currently includes a wizard, cleric, ranger, druid, and rogue/illusionist.

The party is full again. I'll post if we have openings in the future.
