Well,I suck as well. Been sitting on the site of the road for two hours with no signal. I'm likely to not be back to where I can play until maybe nine. More details later. I know Jody is interested in joining the game, maybe you guys can get him going with a character? I'll check in around eight on here, but signal will be very spotty.

For the record, Zumbido felt just Awful about turning Ayn into an invisible cabbage. It will never happen again. Pinky promise.

No, we don't suck - but sometimes RL steps in to interfere with fun stuff like gaming.Scitzz wrote:Well,I suck as well. Been sitting on the site of the road for two hours with no signal. I use descriptors like suck very loosely. I also have a tendency to be self deprecating. I wish I hadn't worded it that way, as by no means do I truly think you suck.Rhuvein wrote:No, we don't suck - but sometimes RL steps in to interfere with fun stuff like gaming.Scitzz wrote:Well,I suck as well. Yeah, life has a way of throwing loops at us, doesn't it? It's all part of the roller coaster, no since complaining about it, just hold on tight and enjoy as much of the ride as you can.
Now. About being an invisible vegetable. How in the world did that happen? I'm sure it was in Ayn's best interests!

Re: Aergraith's Sunday C&C: "Heroes and Scoundrels of Xylh"
A trap took Ayn down and as there is a bit of a rivalry between Zumbido and the cleric so she decided in her reckless arrogance to use the potions she has been carrying since last Halloween to help Ayn feel better rather than let that goody two shoes 'cleric' get all the glory for healing Ayn up. Only thing is the potions were unstable. Some rolls heal (a full heal) but others ... well ... ahem ... not so much. Ayn can be certain that will never happen again because Zumbido used the whole batch up.

Another night might work for me as well.

Recaps as always are in Roll20; just click on the game instead of Join Game to see notes: https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/forum/552264/
Current XP total by my count is 6140. Check that all the characters you are running are of the correct level.
If you do gain a level, remember to roll for 1d4 more fate points.
If you are class and a half and are confused about XP, see this thread and do whatever Rigon says: http://www.trolllord.com/forums/viewtop ... =8&t=13678
(Class and a half is weird, I need to reread Expanding Classes)
Current Group:
Scitzz: Ayn Boone (Gnome Monk/Half-Assassin) (of Palmartizen), Omad al-Sa (Human Ranger)(Of Xylh, Nuna)
Yetihermit: Jacques Lavigne (Halfling Cleric/Half Rogue) (Of western Nuna)
Rhuvein: Lissett Eve Villeneuve (Human Paladin) (Xylh environs), Triss (Half-Elf Druid)(Desert NW of Xylh)
Penny-Whistle: Zumbido (Zumbido, Mad Witch of the Xaroco, Human Witch) (City of Xylh)
Companions:

Your current objective seems to be to locate Rodney and the Amulet of Yendor, in hopes you can use it to barter for information on how to get to Nuna. Or unlock its vaguely hinted at powers. Going by common dungeon logic he's on this lowest level right now. But are the monsters too much of a challenge this deep? And will Rodney simply fireball you into oblivion? Find out tonight in Heroes and Scoundrels of Xylh.

Re: Aergraith's Sunday C&C: "Heroes and Scoundrels of Xylh"
As I've said, the dungeon you are in right now is pretty much completely randomly generated (using http://donjon.bin.sh). As a result, some of the unlock and break DCs are outrageous for dungeon level 5. A DC of 15 corresponds to a CL of 0 (roughly, as character power considerations come into play). These doors (the Stone and Iron anyway) are like 30 or 40 to unlock; that's a CL of 15 or 25. And the Break DCs are 28 (CL 13, maybe closer to reality, actually). But that's pretty much unobtainable for you guys.
Anyway, I've dropped the CLs quite a bit for this dungeon.
These traps have CLs of 10 or more also, so those have been tough.
Anyway, good work despite these issues. Poor Morby.
In future, I'll probably avoid dungeons that require shuffling 5' and searching, 5' and searching again. It turns into HALLWAYS: THE RPG. There'll always be a bit of that, but at present it's just because of the nature of this dungeon, which was meant to give a nod to the incredible game NetHack, which I still have not ever won after playing for nearly 30 years: http://nethack.org/
