Though I totally forgot to mention it, oddly, even with a +3 frostbrand, I'm only 5% more effective in melee combat.

Well, you can give it to someone else who will be 15% more effective, not only to hit, but damage as well.

I am back from Colorado, for those of you who knew I was even gone. My laptop crashed first thing Friday morning, which is why I was unable to play in nwelte's game Sunday, hopefully Titania informed you guys of this like she told me she did.

The crash will not interfere with my running my game tomorrow, but my wife's scheduling dog training and meeting with a counselor tomorrow probably will. This is despite my telling her to schedule these things for Weds, when I have absolutely no games to run or play in. She apologized for forgetting, again, and promised me she wouldn't forget to not schedule stuff on Tuesdays ever again. From now on, if she ever forgets again, I'll be "reminding" her by simply not going.

If we do manage to leave Tucson by 4 PM my time, which will allow me to get home in time for the game, I'll call Rigon and let him know. If I do not leave Tucson in time, again, I'll call Rigon and let him know.

If any of you would also like me to call you and let you know, and you also reside within the US, PM me your numbers. If I get them before I go to Tucson tomorrow, I'll call.

If my kids get home from classes in time, I'll call and ask one of them to post in this thread for me as well.

So one way or another, hopefully all of the above, I'll get word to all of you.

Good session last night, Tree. The gators were a surprise and the harpy would have finished us off had there not been 3 elves in the party. All in all, a nice way to spend an evening.

Ah I wasn't charmed. Just figured if I am sleeping with a halfling... err bear, why not kiss a harpy and live to tell the tale.

Game today is highly unlikely, since today is the day my wife's father is supposed to die. I hope he does, because what he is going through right now is pretty damn horrific. IF he holds on through the day I'll still run the game. Its a hell of a lot better than just waiting.

My sympathies Treebore. I will plan like there is no game then, see you guys next week.

I would prefer it if we could plan to game, if he is still alive I could definitely use the distraction. Much better than just hanging here in limbo, waiting.

My group finished Cult of the Reptile God tonight. It was a nasty fight, despite everyone being down to anywhere from 2 to 20 HP, they managed to prevail!

Congrats guys! Second and third level characters took on a 9 HD monster, and won! Only the NPC Dorian and the befriended Giant Weasel went unconscious!

Who needs balanced encounters?!? No one!

Huzzah!

It all came down to the heroic charge of a brave little halfling at the end (once the Naga was already safely deceased, of course)
Getting fireballed at the outset is never a good way to start a final encounter , but it all went pretty smoothly after that. Abner gave us some protection , Demko some healing, while Sir Gavriel and the three elven archers kept her busy and disrupted her spells. Even the scout was courageously firing arrows at the hideous fiend (mostly into the back of the knight, admittedly)

So now Orlane is safe. Safe, that is, until the thirsty and sore adventurers return to town looking for their "reward"
Nice module Treebore. I liked the balance of conversation, exploration, and combat. And the mystery at the heart of the whole thing was pretty nifty.

Does the mass charm end when the Naga dies?

Next up on our old school campaign ...tomb of horrors

Definately a good way to end a module. A few rolls in the other direction and we would have ended up with a TPK. Now to split up the loot!

I think it may be somewhat helpful that my basic melee attack does a minimum of 10 damage. It really helps for those big hitpoint monsters.

No, you all got it wrong. The dwarf was the hero... jumping on a dino's back and slashing at it is very heroic. Especially when Kurt say "what? are you nuts? Run."

This is, and must always be, the battle cry of the scout:

Although I did like the climbing on the back of the dinosaur. You should make that your signature move.

That, and sticking yourself while failing to remove poison sacks

Ah minor inconvenience. Kind of like a gnat. Just where a bucket on your head and pray for a no 20s and you will be safe.

How would e-mailing them work? I have 20 meg limit. IF not, I can pay the $9 for one month.

Why not just send it through skype? Set up the down load at both ends, then walk away from the computer for an hour (or however long it takes). Does skype have a limit?

No limit I know of, just takes a long darn time. Probably longer than even e-mail would take.

Something unexpected has come up and I don't know if I will be on time tonight. I might be late or not show up at all. If someone could play Abnur for me I would appreciate it.

IF my kids can't get yet ANOTHER flat tire taken care of I may have to cancel the game, or call it early, or something. We'll see.
