I don't think there is a game. That's one of the problems with an every other week game, if you miss a couple, no one can remember when the next session is

My face to face game is going to happen after all.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

If there is a game tomorrow, its looking VERY likely I'll be able to play.

Unfortunately I am still in too much pain to enjoy gaming today (went to ER Thursday morning), so I won't be showing up after all. :(

Fighting with my main computer. Seems I have some infection. Trying to transfer some files safely to my laptop. If I am not on by 7:20, the game will be called. I am working on things now, so we can start at 7:00 but things are progressing rather slow.

If you can't get it working, we still want to play, even if it's just Skype and no maps.

I am still having issues with getting MT working now that I reformatted my machine. If all else fails I will be forced to use Roll20 or go old school again. I actually enjoyed old school last session.

Actually, old school is _with_ maps. D&D is derived from a miniatures war game called chainmail. We always used maps

Roll20 works pretty well nowadays, although not as feature rich as maptools.

Maybe someone else could host the maptools server and you use gm password.

Why is it not working? Did you switch OS? Is java fully installed? What errors do you get that tells you it's not working?

So this means we are gaming this Sunday?

Yes gaming.

I will have to retry MT again and see if I can work through the errors.

Aergraith and Demiurge might have some pointers. They are the computer savvy part of the group. Jaybird and I are just here to look pretty.

If it turns out you need to use Roll20, please enable the new Character Sheet and share the game link with us early so we can get in and macro things up.

I didn't mind playing without a grid either; I tend to think bigger without one, but it does modify our tactics. When Mike Mornard played with Gary he said it was without miniatures: http://blogofholding.com/?series=mornard, and he says Dave Arneson was the minis guy.

When I was a kid I never used minis because I couldn't afford them and I was too Lawful to steal them like everyone else. Now, I find things to like in either style.

Gah! Was this all just a charade to get us to upgrade?

Wait a minute, this version isn't even released yet? Are you from the future?

I see no server named test. Maybe good news, maybe bad.

Hey guys, sorry for the no-show last time. It was an f'd up weekend and I completely forgot we were gaming. Unfortunately, I think I need to drop out of this campaign. As much as I love the DoD series (and you little rapscallions), my weekends just aren't as free as I was hoping they'd be. I hate to keep missing games, so I needs to bow out. Tell them I was beautiful. Sorry, Nate!

Nate, I suggest you put out a call for players; this game is in danger.
