That looks awesome...but I'd like to know specifically what's been revised before I plunk down my coppers. Don't mean to sound like a stick in the mud here, but if it's just the old Erde Gazeteer with some numbers flipped around, I won't bother, y'know?

Well this item is described as a "primer" and is only 24 pages long. Since its being retooled for C&C I would think that most of this will be re-written.

I plan on getting into the setting with this book.

I have to agree with this. I already have the S&S version and the d20 Codex, so unless this has different info, I'll have to pass on it . . . at least for a while.

Is it just me, or is Airhde misspelled there? How the heck DO you spell it, anyway? I've seen like four different versions on the forums and the TLG website. Can we get a Troll to give us the official spelling? lol

Welp. With the removal of the lenghthy d20 stats, that gave Steve room to add about 5-8 more pages of material. So who knows?

Hey folks, The primer is going to include more general material, some of the cosmological maps, descriptions of the dieties will be handled in more detail, etc etc.

There will be some cross over from the Codex and the original AWD, but much of it will be cleaned up, made easier to read and what nots.

And Peter Bradley is doing the maps, a very good thing.

We are hoping to have this out by Gencon, but we are already ass end to the wall it seems!

Wow.. GenCon this year, that is impressive if it should happen. I would be more then welcome to waiting another month or so to make sure everything is correct and all those little pieces are ironed out. I look forward to the primer because this will essentially be my entry into the setting.
