Module sneak peak

Post by madirishman »

Hey all,

Some of youse guys will recall that Bully Pulpit Games (uh, mostly me) is working on an old skool series of modules...just thought I'd post a piece of one of the maps and ask if it is sufficiently "old skool."

Ciao,

Patrick

ESPN poker players, perhaps?
I wouldn't mind sending a party of adventurers to put THAT to an end.

Hmm, I was supposed to be notified of replies but somehow missed all these months ago...
I use Adobe Illustrator to make my maps.

And the tons of progress you have made means the finished product will be available when?

Bad Treebore, bad! Drawing attention to my slothfulness...
Well, soonish, hopefully. There are only three of us in the "company" (which is really only to make beer money...or more accurately, enough money to get us to GenCon) and we had to make a business decision as far as priorities go. I spent much of the last month getting our game Grey Ranks out the door: www.greyranks.com We wanted it ready to sell by GenCon.

That's my friend Jason's baby. But the chimeric nature of our business concern/friendship is that it's one of those crazy "dirty hippie" games - for those of you familiar with the Forge and that indie RPG crowd.

But now I get to go back to my project, and my interests are much more traditional. Hopefully this will end up a three module story arc, and I'm looking to playtest the first soon. The module will probably be tri-statted in three free-licensee systems: /d20/SOLAR system. Most of you won't know the latter; that's another nod to our popularity with the dirty hippie gamers, since it's the system that powers the dirty hippie game The Shadow of Yesterday.

Likely I will do more of these since we can publish them on Lulu.com as POD products and not worry about having to pay for print runs. Although I really want my modules to have unattached covers with blue maps (which they do, maybe that should be my next teaser).
