Secret of Smuggler's Cove

Post by DangerDwarf »

On the TLG site it suggests this is a print product, on the GG site it mentions it as a PDF.

I've never seen it at Noble Knights, which is pretty excellent at restocking their C&C inventory. So, is this an actual print product or not? What about the C&C adaptation of Mortality of Green?

I'm trying to make sure I'm caught up on all my physical products.

It's (Smuggler's Cove) out in PDF format already but the print version is supposed to be out by the end of the month... We'll probably be seeing it on Noble Knight Games sometime in early May.

The C&C conversion of Mortality is already out but contains a bit more than the earlier PDF release if my understanding is correct.

I did the conversion of Smuggler's Cove from d20 to C&C, so I was hoping to get a print copy at KublaCon. Alas, no trolls or goodman folks were to be seen.

I got this in the mail today. Its a nice and solid "sunken ship and light house adventure". I like the "sub plot" involving the swords. Actually I guess its the driving plot.

The hooks are a little lame, but workable.

I think a couple of the encounters are a little whimpy for the suggested ranges, but easy to compensate for.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

I'm a bit confused. The Goodman Games site had the release date moved to a July release but TLG has it available now to order...

Treebore, if you don't mind me asking, did you order it from Goodman or TLG... or somewhere else?

I've got the original Goodman version. Any differences other than system?

Judging by Mysterious Tower? Nope.
