Anyone run "Mystery at Mofurt" by Arcana Creations? I have a few of the other Ballista modules Trick on the Tane, Secret of Ronan Skerry, and the Ruins of Ramat. Read through the first two, and ran Ruins of Ramat a few years ago as a starting adventure for a campaign. It was a good starter.

As the author, yeah...I've ran the original version a few times. It's a stand alone starter module with a hook or three that can be developed into full blown campaigns should the GM want to expand on them. Hence the amount of background and detail provided (which one minimalist reviewer griped about). The groups I've ran through it have had good times, with a couple players having somewhat visceral reactions to a few events (which they sadistically took out on the bad guys once they caught them). It's definitely not a straight forward to run scenario though, at least not on the GM's part.
