How long does Quench affect magic items?

Post by Geoffrey »

The text for the Quench spell notes that when it is cast upon a magic item, the magic "item temporarily loses all its fire-based magical abilities".

How long does the affected magic item lose these abilities?

Per the text: ... "until the item succeeds at an item saving throw"

Also, the item receives one saving throw opportunity per round.
