Wild Empathy

Post by Aladar »

O.K. Trolls, here is one for you:

In all the printings that I have of the Monsters & Treasures, it lists as one of the special abilities for a Dryad as having Wild Empathy. But no where in the M&T or the PHB is this ability described. Is it a hold over from the d20 SRD? Is it used as in D&D 3.0.3.5? Or if not, how is described/used for C&C.

It allows a limited telepathic ability, similar to gnomish speaking with mammals, but with any creature native to the wilds of the dryad's homeland. This makes it somewhat similar to the d20 version, but not.
