The creator of Harn has passed away.

Post by Treebore »

From a certain perspective 2008 can be called "The Year that RPG's Died."
Thanks to another great gamer for some of the best stuff in gaming.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Sad, but true.

Gygax, Wujcik, and now Crossby. Let up hope that that is all we see leave us this year. It is far more than enough.

I've heard of Harn, but I'm not to familiar with the particulars about Crossby, or Harn. I'm sorry for the fans. We're definately losing too many this year. Let's not forget about Bob with JG, as well.

My apologies. Yes Mr. Bledsaw. How awful of me to forget him.

2008 has sucked like no year has sucked before, concerning roleplaying. :( Harn is a magnificent creation, one not to be equaled or duplicated. Its creator shall be missed.

Tis a shame we have lost so many.

On a better note, can you imagine the game they are having upstairs in heaven now.

Moved to the tribute thread.

It has been a very rough year for gamers. We just need to keep the dice rolling. There are a lot of positives that can build on what these people gave us.

I'm starting a C&C campaign in the Hrn setting this month in honor of Gygax and Crossby, two great persons who have contributed so much to so many people.

Their spirit continue to visit our basements every week...
