Are there any TLG C&C products oop?

Post by Lord Dynel »

Besides the CZ/Yggsburgh stuff?

And are the GG-series oop? I have GG1 and GG2, and need to get the other two, but haven't yet.

But I was wondering, as a whole, is anything in the "main line" out of print?

Nope... everything is pretty much in print. Get the rest of the Goodman modules too! We need to keep up the interest to warrant future Goodman Games adventure modules for C&C!

The CKG is out of print because it is not in print.

Yet.

PHB 1, 2, and 3rd printings are OOP, right? Just a thought. I would also think that the PHB/M&T Personalized editions are also OOP, but perhaps that doesn't apply to one-off printings.

The collectors box set. There are still a few available, but the Trolls have said that they won't be reprinted.

Okay, so outside the Collector's Box and previous printings of the core books, that's it then? I have a few more pieces to pick up and was just making sure I wasn't going to have a hard time picking anything up.

Ya... it came out at the tail end of last year amidst all the d20 stuff being cleared out due to the logo thing and with 4th Ed garnering a bunch of attention. I think a more than a few people weren't really aware of it.

Crusader #1, if you count that as main line.

Well, all magazines have a limited print run but I'm surprised that, just checking now, that the others are still available.

I've only been a TLG fan for a year or so, but I've bought every C&C product they have, and except for the Castle Zagyg properties, they are all still listed in the on-line store. Even the Personalized leatherette PHB and M&T are still listed on the Store as is the White Collector's Box set. It wouldn't make sense for them to allow any C&C product to be OOP as it is their main product line. Though if I have missed something someone please let me know.

The D20 stuff pre-C&C is OOP, but lucky for us is slowly being converted (i.e. Heart of Glass this month).

Crusaders have limited print run, but are available as pdfs.

Yeah, I wasn't referring to Crusader...though it would be nice to have a reprint of #1.

Are you sure about the modules. I had a hell of a time trying to get I1 ordered (in a store). And the DB series has been drying up on a few sources (on the net).

I thought TLG was just selling off their backstock but that the book was technically oop.

Aside from the Zagyg ones, none are OOP. It could be a distribution problem. As soon as TLG sells of one, I'm sure they'd print up a new batch though maybe they might want to re-do the covers for those to match up with the new look.

Well, something funny is going on then.

Paizo only sells PDFs of them now (and they middleman sell stuff so they'd be getting it from TLG).

NobleKnight doubled the asking price on all their A series modules.

link deleted

link deleted

link de;eted

And in case you dont click the links that is A2,A3,and A4 all almost $20 each.
And my effing flgs cant order any of the I series. Except I3 (which doesnt do me any good since I still need I2)

Edit: Links deleted for space

Hmm... maybe there is something that we just don't know about. With everything else that TLG is doing, it is entirely possible that these won't be reprinted for a few months. And a reprint would give them the chance to retool the series or even reprint them as larger books. Imagine the I-Series as on perfect bound volume. Definitely within their capabilities now since the Heart of Glass is at least 60 pages with a couple of maps.

However, if you are looking for I2 and other modules, let me know what they are and I'll see if they are at the closest game store to me. They had some C&C modules going at a discount and there's a chance that the ones you are looking for may be among them. If they are, I'll be happy to pick them up for ya.

There does appear to be some strange goings-on. It's hard to tell with some web stores, though.

You know, I ordered them from the TLG store last night before I saw this post. Thanks anyway.

I'll PM you if I think of another one I need.

The C&C conversion of this most excellent adventure have never been in print... yet.

The d20 and the Swords & Sorcery version is OOP (there was a version done for each) but well worth tracking down if you don't want to wait. I love the adventure and it was amongst the first I ran for C&C (with the conversions being done on the fly). It is one of my favorites ever put out by TLG.

I heartily recommend it... NKG has a NM copy of the d20 version of the module selling for $4.49 if anyone is interested.

I second what moriarty777 said. That is a great little module and one that can be run on the fly in one evening's time. I ran it and, if we gamed on a more frequent basis so my players didn't forget stuff, I'd have had the NPCs become a recurring band once in a while.
In the words of my good friend Trevor, "Hey, put an arrow in that flying mummy! What could possibly happen?"
