Lookin' good. Man, that dragon is very imposing over those small chaps. Actually, that dragon pose is a little unnerving.

Its a Blunderbuss. Some were just used to fire arrows or javelins.

True there, and the last time I saw a show about historic weapons, my wife forbid me from ever trying to make my own version, or "helping" my girls make one ...
Back to the original subject of the thread, VERY NICE pict! That is exactly how I picture a dragon fight going!

And believe it or not, the archer character actually survived this fight.

That's one of my Ranger characters. A ranger/druid specifically.

I like the way the dragon's claw breaks the border of the piece. Seeing as the file is named CNCBasicCover, I take it as an homage to Larry's red box. Nice.

Peter - I really like that one- I would love to see it finished and if the nipples are not evident in the finished work- Id like to get a copy of it...

hell turn it in a sepia doutone and I'd buy it as is- I really like the perspective
