Why am I getting this image of everyone clearing the street to get out of the way like they do on the old Western movies!
I would call it even - Jim's the better artist, Chuck's the better martial artist.

*chuckles* I had a fun image along those same lines. Two dwarves facing each other on either side of a long street, axes ready to throw, as various hapless bystanders scatter.

I told you Jim was the baddest dude on the planet. This picture just confirms this.

Chuck's too busy making Total Fitness informercials with Christie Brinkley and coloring his beard with "Just For Men" to still be considered Lone Wolf McQuade bad.

Funny stuff Jim!

Yes! Those monks in Tibet did not just teach Jim the long lost hidden Archaic secrets of divine art!
(*laughs* look at Chucks fingers and legs!)

That's why you should universally never enter a graveyard at night, during a full moon and carrying a lantern.

Nice piece! It has a "Chill" look

about it? I really liked that art series.

Yes, it's a variation of the version that was used in the CHILL boxed set. Of course, the original was b&w vs. this color version.

Great job again on these monsters, John (Jim!)

I got "Bugbear" from the first one right off the bat but which creature is Jim conveying in the second one....Locathah or Sahuagin? Those two look so similar through the different MM editions over the years that it's sometimes hard to tell since so many versions of them have been drawn by so many artists now and they both have such physical similarities, it's always a toss up for me. Then, of course, there's the Kuo-Toa.

Damn D&D fish guys!
Either way, it still kicks major booty. Love the use of the horseshoe crab as a shield. I'm going to guess it's a Sahuagin just due to it's overall evil looking demeanor.

(Oh yeah, I've got a scenario that I may throw your way to see if Jim is interested in taking a stab at it, John.)

Yes, you are correct sir! It is the sahuagin!

Fire the scenario our way in whatever form you prefer - email, PM, smoke signals...

(just realized I hit 1000 posts...I need to get a life! )

Email sent, John.

I tried smoke signals...but after an hour of coughing my lungs up and getting no response from you, I figured email would be the best way to go.

O.K., I don't remember seeing anything like this before, what is the thing with the tenticles, one eye, and one horn?

Not a one eyed, one horned, flying purple people eater I trust?
I really like the dwarven shield wall drawing too.
