The outside of my next dungeon (drew this in 1991)

Need a name for the place though. Can't decide if it is a keep, outpost, fort, or what.

Make it an observatory, but more a temple. A deity of the sky, weather, stars, whatever could easily be seen using such a construction.

Okay...got several ideas and liked a couple. Was not liking the floor plan I had for the domed building to begin with.

Tempted to call it something to do with the Pink Panther.

Calling it "The Observatory of Ili Senir Unu" A couple teaser images for the interior. A lot more done than just this lil bit. Cookie if you figure out the translation. :ugeek:

Gearing up for my home campaign: Lands of Silk and Steel. :) In progress map of the starting town...a mix of asian and european flavors. Torii around the Temple, the whole pagoda-like looking roofs for the guard towers at the bridges and temple, foo lions at the stone bridges or other ornate stonework...and of course canals with flooded fields similar to rice paddies (but not) that turn into the sewer and drainage as they pass through town heading out to sea. Still a lot of work left but it is coming up nicely. Goes in the larger regional map in the previous post.

1-13-17 edit: Finished version. Green roof= Temple of Gaia (nature), Yellow roof = Temple of the Shining One , Red= Adventurer's Guild, Black roofs= Guard towers. Inns have gardens and a cafe next to the river with a nice patio. Light house near the bay mouth. Even cattle in the fields east of town.

Been playing with Inkarnate beta. This map took around 30 minutes to do. Simplest and most user friendly digital mapper I have ran across. Looking forward to their full suite release after this. :)

The small village of Pinefor located in hills covered by evergreen forest. (Temperate or sub-arctic climes?)
Features a small tower fort surrounded by a wood palisade, charcoal pits, cemetery, a small dam, and a good sized rock quarry.

(I got some new pens with a wider color palette and fine points I had to try out.)
