I guess there is a game convention in Madison, WI, in early November. I haven't been to this one but I see that Castles & Crusades has some games in the schedule.
Anyone going? Anyone been there in previous years? Is it worth my time?

Re: Gamehole Con
I haven't been, but it's got a great reputation as an OSR-friendly con. There is a lot of cross-over of attendees and events between Gamehole Con and Gary Con. I would love to go if I could do 2 out of town cons per year. North Texas RPG Con is the third player in the OSR con constellation.

Re: Gamehole Con
Though to be clear, both NTXRPGC and GaryCon are Old School cons that do some new games. Game Hole Con is (so I've been informed) is a 'modern' con that is OS friendly.
That distinction means more to some than others, but I wanted to make sure its out there.

Re: Gamehole Con
I get what you are saying. Gamehole Con appears to have a huge list of 5E games, but only a few old-school games like OD&D / C&C / S&W:WB. And a bunch of board games.
However, I see a few cool names like Frank Mentzer and Jim Ward listed among the DM's.

Re: Gamehole Con
I love Gamehole, GaryCon, and NTRPG. All are sort of the same, yet different in their own way. I know I should have two C&C games on the GH schedule.
