Ah, the Conan girl in the corset! You know, she was a straight up gaming and fantasy dork, who was quite stunning and just damn fun to talk too. You don't meet many people like her... EXCEPT at Con-on-the-Cob.
As for Rigon... I WAS AT THE HOTEL THE WHOLE TIME CHAMP! Either I was in the gaming hall -OR- Cruisers resturant. Likely story you couldn't find me. Pffft.
As for dancing the night away, I was told by one of the party organizers (the terrible DJ who started the night off) to "settle down" on several occasions. Look, I love the guys who throw that party, but they can be such lamesters.
I'm sorry I talked your ear off at that party jaybird. You're a con guy of conventions I never get to go to. You'll have to excuse my punishing and relentless questions on the subject.
Hanging out until all hours of the AM with Rig, Jay, Bri, and the rest of those cool peeps is really one of the splendid moments of COB. Thanks y'all!

On a related note, what other convention do you get to dance with Larry fricken Elmore to the jam Rock Lobster at the close of the night? What other convention will Larry fricken Elmore high-five you and spill his beverage all over you and it's NOT a problem?! I'm sure there might be others, but not for me.
Cob.

She was a damned fine DM, too. I really did have a lot of fun playing.Omote wrote:Ah, the Conan girl in the corset! You know, she was a straight up gaming and fantasy dork, who was quite stunning and just damn fun to talk too. You don't meet many people like her... EXCEPT at Con-on-the-Cob.
Not at alllll, man. I go to those things to socialize and didn't think you were dominating my time at all. What was it, 5 mins over in the corner before you unleashed yourself back on that dancefloor. And those barfleet guys get more and more uptight every year. Next year, you'll likely either need a note from your mom, or your mom herself (preferably in costume) to even be granted admission.Omote wrote:I'm sorry I talked your ear off at that party jaybird. It was great to catch up, and I'm glad you came down to the lobby with us after we all got hushed out of my room. Frankly, I'm surprised our poor neighbor waited that long to complain.Omote wrote:Hanging out until all hours of the AM with Rig, Jay, Bri, and the rest of those cool peeps is really one of the splendid moments of COB.
