Is it here yet? Is it here yet? Did I miss it? Am I late? Will it be here any minute? Oh boy! I can hardly wait!

Since AA is finally out I am hopeful we will finally see this in about 3 months. I imagine their longest hold up will be the art. Aside from editing, since Trolls have so much trouble with writing legibly.

Character bio art is already done by Christopher Walker, but covers must still be done. I'd like to know status myself. ;)

Can anyone give me a quick synopsis of how Victorious will differ from Amazing Adventures? Are they both heavy-C&C influenced?

Well, not having read Amazing Adventures I honestly can't tell you. As for V!, its about 90%-ish C&C. If you know C&C and the Siege Engine, you'll not have much trouble learning the few special systems in Victorious. Character generation is different in that you can custom your hero(ine) more and while there are classes they are more suggested templates than "full" classes. Assuming your Genteel Magistrate (GM) plays it that way anyhow. ;) There are several optional rules and mechanics (Fatigue, abstract combat, Victory Points, etc.) that can be used, but they're not "required".

Sounds like it might be possible to combine V! and AA into a generational game.
One where the grand, or great-grand, children of the V! characters become the British pulp heroes of AA.

I can't see why not, so long as AA doesn't vary from the C&C core as much as say Star Siege originally did?

So...where is this sitting in the grand scope of things? Will we get to see it this year? :)

No doubt! Seriously, every time I call the Troll Lord Games phone # I get a voice mail system that says the VM system hasn't been set up yet....and therefore I can't leave a message.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Hello,

Mike I'm assuming you did not get my pre-Christmas email. I'll send it again.

But right now Victorious is in the Que but not on the official schedule. Peter has been extremely busy lately with Codex Celtarum and hadn't quite wrapped up Amazing Adventures when Victorious landed on my desk. He has gone over the doc for a very rough page count/size of the book.

But we need info from Mike before we can proceed. So let me resend the email.

I got an email dated Jan 10 but it just said Peter was busy and didn't ask me for anything.

If you need something else, please send to stewart69 (at) gmail (dot) com as my verizon account is messed up. I can read emails coming in there but can't reply from the account.

Oh, and what's wrong with the TLG phone? As noted above I can't get any option to leave a msg!

That's my fault. I keep forgetting to forward the dang calls to the new TLG line and the voice mail. That number is 501-379-8990. Email inboudn to that address.

Hello Grey (and other interested parties),

Last time I talked to Peter the manuscript was collated and being sent to the editor. I'm about 2/3rds through the first module "A Night for Jackals" and 1/3rd through the second module "Evil in the White City". The former is based in London and is a sequel to the intro adventure in the rulebook "Hyde and Seek". Evil... is based in Chicago in 1893, but each module will have suggestions to place each adventure in another city if desired. Murder, Mayhem, and Steampunk abounds!

Typing away at my keyboard, and occasionally still trying to get in touch with Troll Lord Steve...!

No kidding! My wife pointed out to me that I started work on this game...in 2006!!!

Ah, the joys of publishing. Of course part of the trouble was my determination to help an artist friend. Silly me. :P

Well, that clarifies why I'm not greenlit to do a steampunk sourcebook for Amazing Adventures ;).

Can't believe I never saw this yet. Sounds way cool! Looking forward to it!

Thanks Jason... I play to run another playtest at the North Texas RPG Con (unless there's an objection) and run the V1 module A Night for Jackals. If you're around, be sure to sign up!

Congrats Mike! way to stick to it!

I think V! should mesh nicely with AA. Way cool to see more games that work well with the Siege engine.
