Possible... yes. Legal depends on the state. At least I didn't say BBQing the English.

I can imagine it was worse back then.

This fine 4th I broke the tradition of blowing myself up or catching myself on fire. It almost didn't feel like Independence Day without it.

Minor burn to my left thumb and missing some arm hair but that aint nothing compared to my usual 4th of July escapades. I'm either growing more mature or drinking less alcohol.....not sure what it is or if it is a combination of both.

That goes with the barbecues I should think.

Or, if you are DD, the fireworks.

The 2 are actually one in the same
This is a hard one, Being an Okie I LOVE to BBQ, and after having no free time over the last year (stupid college classes) I finally got a break and lit up the ole barrel smoker this 4th. -The chicken was good, I haven't lost my touch there! However, I also love things that go boom, plus this was the first year that my girls were big enough to set on the lawn and enjoy watching dad light off all the fountains and such, so it's a tie...

That being said, walloping up on some Limey bastages takes the #1 slot for me

I chose the last one, but really enjoy them all. We had a blast firing the smaller mortar sized fireworks this year. A friend who was having the party did a smart thing and also invited a neighbor who is involved in the law enforcement field. What could he say?!
Although there was some alcohol involved, I made sure the kids were following the "rules". Don't need any ER runs!!

Barbecue wins....But we all win, no matter how you spent your 4th of July.
