I don't know about anyone else but I consider just posting a random YouTube link with no text at all with it total spam. That video could be anything.

If you had been a new user with 0-10 posts to your name I would have instantly thought it was spam and (on the forums I own/moderate) deleted it and banned the user.

Even so, I see no purpose to that video. No "hey, I'd like to start a conversation about......." so what was the point? Please enlighten me.

Easy Bif. Slimy is a long time C&C enthusiast and huge contributor to this site, even if he has not posted in some time. He has also gamed with a great many of us members online and has loads of friends here (even if we don't agree about L Nut Hubbard)
.That could be said about a lot of forum members. He is a big fan of that band . . and btw, watch out for giants.

Good to see slimy back 'round here!

Still ridin'?

No, I get it. I wasn't trying to be mean or nasty and I tried to be polite in my post. Random web/video links could go anywhere and be anything. Think of those people (like me!) with kids walking around randomly behind when you're pottering on the computer. It's polite to say what a thing is and why you're posting it. No way am I trying to alienate anyone, just educate them on polite forum posting conventions.

I don’t think your reply was mean or nasty, just slightly inappropriate. As someone who is new to this forum, perhaps you should take a less challenging and more friendly inquiry to a post where you don’t understand it. Certainly on your forums, do what you will – but here you don’t need to educate anyone on polite posting conventions. Moderators and long time forum members can help you there.

Hey gentlemen!

No, no riding for a few years Rhu!

Yes I still love Thor!

Been playing some Cortex Classic and ad&d for a while, but will pick up C&C (my fav system for fantasy) again shortly.

Cheers!
